Handchecking, smaller court, fewer fouls called, no defensive three seconds all encourage people to pack the paint and get really grabby on ball. If people play him the way they did in the French League he'll get 20 free throws a game. Has nothing to do with player quality.

It's just summer league, but Podz is not looking like he can play in the NBA right now. Like the non-scoring stuff has been good but if he can't score I'm not sure he has a role in the league, and it seems like he can barely get his shot off. Which saddens me because I was a big Podz agenda guy. Hopefully he turns things around.

He will be on a team with 4 HOFers, his offense will mostly come from open looks. If he can't hit those the there's not much hope.
