By Sharp Go To PostThis is easily the best I've seen the Hornets play this summer league.in ages
nick smith defending like he doesn't lick paint with bouknight anymore. brandon miller remembering he can do more than shoot 3s
By DY_nasty Go To Postall of nick smith's pg brain cells come from 2k. he has no idea what he's doing. ever.I know this won't happen because he's a first round pick but I would legitimately cut him after this game lol. Why waste development resources on him?
By Sharp Go To PostI know this won't happen because he's a first round pick but I would legitimately cut him after this game lol. Why waste development resources on him?physically you can't ask for much more. guys have been drafted off of high school potential and half a college season plenty. i thought garland was an omega level reach ftr
i think there's a timeline where he can become a legit 2. but we don't have the development for a guy like him
Brandon Miller is finally having that impact I was expecting him to...
Hornets shooting 55% from the field at the half 😱

he was recovering from mono all through the draft and lost 12 lbs. im obligated to participate in the damage control and propaganda now.
By reilo Go To PostBrandon Miller looking good, that last dunk was nastyHe looks so much better when he doesn't just sit in the corner and try to jack threes.
By Sharp Go To PostI know this won't happen because he's a first round pick but I would legitimately cut him after this game lol. Why waste development resources on him?just trade him. Cutting a teenager because the scouts are not doing their job and he doesn't fit the timeline seems like a waste of a pick.
Miller swish.
reilo I know you're not gonna want to hear this but Shaedon has not looked very good for a returning player.

Dyson Daniels still can't shoot from mid-range or distance, but his handle and scoring at the rim has been much improved from last Summer League for him. Not as much progress as I would have liked, but it his progress. He is definitely playing like an adult out there at 20.
By Sharp Go To PostMiller swish.Looking good second half. They're having him have a go as a primary ballhandler which is not what he's supposed to be doing. But I'm okay with them letting him work through it.

By reilo Go To PostNick Smith aint ever passing that ball looolIMO he has to be like Klay level good as a shooter to be a positive player... it's why I wouldn't want to try to develop him personally.
By Sharp Go To PostIs Shaedon really the Blazers' best free throw shooter right now?just the only guy who knows how to come to the ball lol
By Sharp Go To PostIs Shaedon really the Blazers' best free throw shooter right now? It's about getting those reps in situations like this
Can Johnny Davis please stop fucking ballhogging and let actual prospects get some reps
Bilal sick pass
Did this announcer just call paying Kuz $100m a "discount"

Been working out with my 12 yr old nephew after he gets out of camp and his improvement in such a short period of time is shocking. We played 1 on 1 and he hit a tough left hand layup over me where he created contact, put his shoulder in my chest. Game was closer than expected but I prevailed, but he would definitely beat his father now. The interesting thing is that almost all his layups are same foot same hand takeoffs, and I'm torn on whether I should correct it since it throws off the timing of people.
Also he's hitting sidestep and step back threes consistently, gonna build his game around attacking going left so he can spin or crossover to right to finish.

If he is that is explosive

I'd put money on it, he told me he plans to tire his father out the next time they play.

He's starting to get more athletic, he's a two foot leaper but on his layups he's going right/right and left/left on takeoffs and I didn't even notice it at first cause it's pretty clean looking. It's how he got the layup off too, I was expecting the right foot plant then for him to jump but he just went up left left and it threw off my timing to block the lay. I didn't teach him that too, so it's surprising.
