Dude we actually fleeced them I don't think the Wizards have ever been on this side of a trade before.
By reilo Go To PostAnd don't forget that their one young promising player with the right skillsets and tools to make it somewhat work (Ayton) they bullied into him becoming a coward.Ayton has been soft and not cared about anything other than his next contract since day 1 and has even gone on record to admit it.
They'll probably look to dump him for an injury prone big man in his 30s that gets along with the other guys.
By reilo Go To PostWarriors being terrible at scouting saved the NBA.

????????????????????????????????????????!
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostYea this shit reeks of Zeke
Who were the Suns even competing with lol, Beal has a NTC and an awful contract and isn't even that good...
By reilo Go To PostOh damn that trade goes back to being pretty bad then. A single protected first rounder for four years of cap space... I guess if you think Poole is actually a winning player it looks better. Personally I think he doesn't have much value on that contract, especially with the new CBA. Not sure a contender's gonna want him.

By reilo Go To PostTop 20? I hope later it somehow comes out we fleeced them like we did with the Beal trade because this is looking like we just did them a favor again.

By reilo Go To PostOr worse: Wizards GM values Poole's talentThat would be depressing so I'm going to assume it's not true and they'll just give us random stuff for free later like how Masai is still paying back the Spurs for the Kawhi trade.
With all of this craziness going on today, I center myself by remembering what Rudy Gobert got traded for...
By faceless Go To PostWith all of this craziness going on today, I center myself by remembering what Rudy Gobert got traded for…Gobert was actually a good player who had a strong positive impact on winning (at least before this year) and wasn't injury prone or on a terrible contract. Most of those guys just don't get traded at all, Ainge just foresaw the decline and took advantage of it.
By Koko Go To PostI miss pre-knee injury CP3. :(
Pinlon please.
lol Masai really loving his dudes
If Scoot goes #2, I can see Portland drafting Amen and keeping the pick. Looks like everyone is done trading anything anymore. Oh well.
CP3 on the Warriors? lol fucking hell! They CP3 and Curry don't really like each other too; haha what a day!
You don't want to go with fit over talent, but I could see the Hornets being bad even if Scoot reaches his ceiling due to Melo/Scoot kind of being an And 1 special. Meanwhile if Miller hits his ceiling, the Hornets could build some playoff success.
That being said, Miller's floor scares me more than Scoot's..

miller's gather bothers me fr
By Rob Go To PostSteph gonna love that CP3 gotta come off the benchLooks they can cut him next season and not take a hit but I doubt they bench him and his 30 million dollar contact this season
By blackace Go To PostLooks they can cut him next season and not take a hit but I doubt they bench him and his 30 million dollar contact this seasonthey probably gonna tell his ass to stay home at some point if they can't find another trade lol
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostThe best argument I heard for why it doesn't make sense for Brooklyn to continue on the "be a play-in" path is that even if they didn't butcher all their draft capital, the chances of landing a Top 3 pick in next 4-5 years isn't all that great. So why not accept a Top 3 pick TODAY knowing full well the next two draft classes are ass?
Treating Bridges like he's prime KD is weird, he good but not that good.
But Brooklyn gonna Brooklyn.
By reilo Go To Postlol Masai really loving his dudesAppears they love him too lol
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostSimmons isn't that good, and the 3 might not be Scoot

By pilonv1 Go To PostGetting rid of Poole is good but idkYou gave up basically nothing lol, I have no clue why we did that considering all we had left to offer to anyone was cap space.
By blackace Go To Postwas trying to tell you… his shot doesn't look NBA readyGuys who shoot as well as Miller pretty much always succeed in the NBA, I promise you whatever comparisons you're thinking of that busted didn't shoot as well as him. Plenty of examples of successful guys with weird shots, if it goes in it goes in.
By blackace Go To PostAnd roll with who? Isn't their cap fucked?anyone else? paul isn't even as good as the last few years of livingston anymore

By blackace Go To Postwas trying to tell you… his shot doesn't look NBA readyit doesn't look mechanically 'safe'. dude brings the ball straight up and out in front of his hips. he drifts well, but his length allows him to shoot over guys who essentially can't crowd him the way NBA defenders can. as kib once said "no wiggle" - his base can be thrown off with nothing more than deliberate intent
all those things can be fixed with strengthening and tightening his game up a bit.... but he gets bigger and that lack of touch finishing around the rim becomes a questionmark worth highlighting again too
idk. im shook fr

Why trade Mikal straight up for Simons and Miller knowing that we owe our pick the next two years and we still have to pay Ben?
