Having to pay to salary dump a 24 year old. Is that the youngest player in such a situation?
His contact hadn't even started yet omg lol

If we get a 2026 unprotected first out of this all is forgiven
Given how hell bent Winger has been to avoid long term money, you've got to imagine the draft capital has to be more than decent...
By Sharp Go To PostI was fucking joking because it seemed like the Wiz are just doing teams favors for no reason, his contract is so god damn longHonestly I kinda don't hate the move. There is a chance Poole actually is a good player and the Draymond thing fucked with him.
By reilo Go To PostSo it begins.
By diehard Go To PostHonestly I kinda like that move. There is a chance Poole actually is a good player and the Draymond thing fucked with him.Like how much of a chance we talking? 0.1%? 0.25%? 1.5%? What's the range here?
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostGiven how hell bent Winger has been to avoid long term money, you've got to imagine the draft capital has to be more than decent…Protected 2030 first, 2027 second, no 2026 pick :| We're doomed.
By diehard Go To PostHonestly I kinda don't hate the move. There is a chance Poole actually is a good player and the Draymond thing fucked with him. He's not good, I might not be able to find the post but his name has come up in multiple analyses people did about the kind of player that is virtually always way overpaid vs. their production. Warriors know that but paid him anyway because they could, I think they just got spooked by the new CBA.

Waiting for Shams/Woj to confirm those deets. Don't make sense to me. That's too cheap of a bailout for the dubs.
Poole isn't good good, but he can average 26 ppg here and then get traded for a first in two years.
By Sharp Go To PostWait we got number 19? We're so back, it's Podz time baby#8 and #19, 2030 FRP, Tyus, Poole for KP and Beal is not a bad haul tbh
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostWaiting for Shams/Woj to confirm those deets. Don't make sense to me. That's too cheap of a bailout for the dubs.True he is the kind of player that tricks teams into overpaying, that's how he got that contract in the first place. I'm just so sick of watching guys like him play for the Wizards, it feels like that's all we ever have.

By reilo Go To Post#8 and #19, 2030 FRP, Tyus, Poole for KP and Beal is not a bad haul tbhIt's not awful but that's a little misleading. We already had the #8 and we got basically nothing for KP and Beal. The only assets the Wiz had of any real value was our cap space and we just traded four years of it for two firsts... which I guess is pretty good value but it's not clear since four years is such a long time. Also 2030 one depends on protections obviously since the Warriors will probably be pretty bad by then, it might not convey.
I was hoping they were desperate enough to give up an unprotected pick, but I guess the Wizards don't really have any leverage, they're not the only team with cap space. Maybe the only team with cap space that has absolutely tanked its future to the point they'd be willing to take on that contract though.
By domino Go To PostBoy I didn’t think cp3 soul could take being Steph’s lil homieHe'll do anything to stop that kid in Phoenix from bullying his daughter.
By RATHasReturned Go To PostDays, he meant DAYS
By n8 dogg Go To PostDo the Warriors keep Paul, move Steph even more off-ball, give Klay a reduced role?
Paul comes off the bench.
By Sharp Go To PostThere are so many worse guards defensively in the league, their real problem is Draymond leaving. He ain't leaving. The money is too good.

By Sharp Go To PostSo how exactly does the current Warriors core plan on beating Jokic…Flop a coin and hope Murray is injured.
By Sharp Go To PostOh damn WTF that's a monster haul.NTC, bad contract, and a UFA about to walk away for all of this is not the worst haul, man.
If JP doesn't work out, he's young enough where you can flip him for more assets later. Don't stress, you're good.

Oh damnnnnn
Yooo
Fairly strong odds that shit goes south fast with sensitive ass KD too..
By pkaz01 Go To PostWell good thing we didnt have a scouting departmentI don't understand how you guys somehow turned a young and promising core with tons of depth that looked ready to contend for the finals with loads of draft capital into a top heavy superteam full of injury prone guys on huge contracts on the back ends of their careers with no draft capital. Seems... suspect to say the least, but I guess if you all win a ring it doesn't matter.

They'll probably look to dump him for an injury prone big man in his 30s that gets along with the other guys.
By Kuma Go To PostDid the Wizard just get first round pick for CP3 or am I bugginNo we got it for bailing them out of that Poole contract lol.
