Plus, he seems to know how to fall (more or less) and being skinny has the advantage that it's not as much weight coming down every time he does. Much less sold on his offense though... I am very suspicious of his shooting touch, he was never a particularly good free throw shooter and was atrocious from three before college where he shot well on pretty low volume, which is a profile that's fooled many people before.

By DY_nasty Go To Postlol thybulle with mavs nowGuessing they didn't want to mess with going for Williams or Washington, or no one wants the trash from the Mavs to make space lmao
Will portland match? Do they like him enough?

RFA and at 26, imagine the Blazers probably retain him. Been wrong before but we'll see.
I've kinda hit screw it if the Blazers do a Ben Simmons and Duncan Robinson for Dame and Nurkic. Go sign a Christian Wood and go full DrakeBlazers and tell them "You worth that paper? Time to prove it."

Iād just give up on basketball and watch pickle ball before I ever said trade for Ben Simmons and Duncan Robinson

They're gonna suck ass regardless and this trade is gonna be an all-time fleece because the Blazers GM isn't Scammy Ainge. If you're locked in to 4-5 years of your team sucking, might as well build a team around washed Ben Simmons then laugh as it fails. Dude's back or ego gonna give out 3 games into the season and then he'll spend the rest of the year in LA while Scoot develops. Shrug.
Trust me, I'd much rather they get a Donovan Mitchell like return but I'd rather prepare myself mentally for a horror show now than expect otherwise. Probably barely watch this year but we'll see.
I kind of don't like the idea of giving up two firsts for Tyler Herro, but then I remind myself that Ben Simmons might never play meaningful basketball again in BK.

Donāt see the point of giving up Simmons with a year to go. If he is back to good Simmons, then heās the best playmaker we have. If he isnāt, dump him next summer. Only move him if it really moves the needle. Herro aināt it.
That clip DY posted earlier of FVV was hilarious
Your team has 0 points with 7:30 left in the first, still 18 seconds on the shot clock and you take a 40ft 3

PJ Washington is not considered a realistic target for teams in restricted free agency this offseason.
With teams possessing limited cap space, the most Washington could realistically sign for is $54 million over four seasons. Washington is seeking a deal in the $18 million range annually, making that offer sheet a relative bargain and an easy decision for the Charlotte Hornets to match.
If Washington is unable to come to terms with the Hornets on a long-term contract, he would play out the 23-24 season on the $8.5 million qualifying offer before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2024

By reilo Go To PostWe've also seen Jimmer make a lot of threes in college it doesn't make him Steph CurrySo.. in this comparison Wemby is Jimmer?
By blackace Go To PostSo.. in this comparison Wemby is Jimmer? That's certainly a reading
By reilo Go To PostThat's certainly a readingJust saying... We have seen BolBol do some crazy things against legit NBA talent.
We've seen him do a few things in random spurts and then get waived by the Magic.
Bol Bol's biggest problem is he doesn't give a shit about playing basketball or training hard to do so. Be a shock of the century if Wemby turns out to be on the same wavelength.
In other words, we gotta stop making Bol Bol happen.

By DY_nasty Go To Postyou telling on yourself crazy rn im backing awayhow? Bol Bol had a stretch where he looked like he put it together. Like the first 20 games of the season he played good basketball. After that, he just stopped caring besides a game or two. That's probably not a lack of talent issueā¦ Plus his height and all thatā¦
Bol Bol is probably mentally unfixable but he talented af
But sure š¤·š¾āāļø

Even when he's trying Bol gets absolutely cooked on defense, Wemby locks down the paint the entire time he's on the court.

Two foot jumpers who get no power of lift is extremely worrying when they'll be facing long athletes every night. He's not even Kyle Anderson crafty to make up for it

The question is it because he doesn't have the talent to play D or he doesn't give about anything
