Bruce is an ideal role-player that makes sense on a team that already has most of its 3point shooting and ball-handling taken care of, not unlike 2010s Richard Jefferson or Jeff Green or Shane Battier, or what Chicago wants out of Caruso. At $20 million you're asking him to increase his usage to Marcus Smart levels and I don't think he'll ever be that guy. MLE is just about right for a playoff team.
I think there's a good chance he's much worse than any of those guys and basically just a bench guy, but I guess we'll find out!
