My favorite off-season thing is when a dude gets released/waived/not have their QO picked up and every fanbase of another team clamors for their team to pick that dude up and their GM would be a complete idiot not to.

By Rob Go To Postevery time i get on my computer i see some rumor about it. im tired of it already. who keeps acting like these players who never play are worth trading forGotta take risks sometimes and trading for PG is one I would take.
i'd trade jacob toppin for Kawhi or PG,. the other guys on our team can actually be depended on to play 5 minutes if we need them to

Saw espn mock trade where we give up RJ, Grimes, Fournier, an unprotected first, a first round pick swap, and Dallas top 10 protected pick
RJ not the best and I have plenty of posts hating on him, but he plays at least. Who would even be our starting 3 when he inevitably gets injured?
Not giving up Grimes, having him and PG defending on the perimeter would be the point of the trade to me. I'd give up RJ Obi Fournier our 24 pick and up to 3* of our protected picks. Maybe send the Spurs Rokas to take on Fourniers contract in a 3 way so the Clips don't have to.

I found some details on the BRI:

[…]
When it comes to actually calculating the salary cap, the players did win one major concession from ownership. The league's licensing revenue—which is projected to come in at around $160 million next season—will now count as basketball-related income, allowing the players to share in that revenue. Based on that $160 million projection, this new source of player revenue will boost the salary cap by at least $2 million once instituted, and that figure is only likely to grow.

By reilo Go To Postwow don't sell the whole farmIf the Clippers don't want to be realistic about the value of 33-year-old Paul George with one year left on his contract they can kick rocks.

I wouldn't even offer RJ for him, not that Rowan is great or anything but at least you can pencil him in for 60+.
Provided they were at the end of the season Id take 30 games of Paul George over a full 82 from RJ...

We’ll be fine. NBA has no shortage of drama queens

By reilo Go To PostWhat's the idea here?I think it has to be Ayton, since the Mavs still need rim protection (Lively might be good as a rookie but betting on him to be as good as Kessler seems like a bad idea) and Kyrie is not the most amazing fit on that roster. I don't think Ishbia actually understands how basketball works and IT just convinced him that as long as they have hoopers at every position they'll be fine.
Kyrie S&T for Ayton?
Kyrie, Beal, Booker, Durant, bag of chips at center?

By reilo Go To PostDefinitely feels like a mid-2000s Knicks teamThey'll definitely be better than any of those Knicks teams lol, I just think relying on KD to be your entire defense is probably not a good idea.
By reilo Go To PostHe ain't played much at all and has been outplayed by Jose when he did. Not surprised but still a bummer. Rough injury luck in addition to not quite being at an NBA rotation level when he did play.
Sorry Kib
Honestly kyrie leaving if it happens is whatever. What the heck are the suns doing though lmao. Gonna have 4 dudes and 11 minimum contracts
Mavs would have to ask for Cam Payne in a Kyrie for Ayton swap, no? Suns can't give them any draft compensation.
Gonna go the MIA route and just bring up 5 G-league guys, KD does not believe in benches.

The Mavs also don't have to help facilitate a sign and trade. They have no reason to. If Kyrie leaves the Mavs get like almost 30 million to use I think?
How could this info possibly be out there now? Is there some t-t-tampering going on? *gasp*
False alarm! No tampering here.

[Stein] It has reached the point when I speak to various teams that it would be a legitimate leaguewide surprise now if Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks don’t strike verbal agreements to join the Houston Rockets by Friday night.
