Foul merchant SGA and the thunder will be a top 8 team, league will push Chet vs Wemby all season
Kai is just a huge weirdo who’s been babied his entire sports life and now facing adversity/not realizing he’s not that good, delusional life
Many such cases for pros
Been seeing lots of “they’re the same situation” with Bridges and it’s crazy

By masud Go To PostKai seems like he should be talking to someone professionally.Him being waived in such a way likely has to do with him refusing therapy.
In the game broadcast department, Greg Fonseca was named Broadcast Producer, Russ Jenisch was named Broadcast Director and Tom Haberstroh joined the organization as Analytics Insider. On the studio side, Kyle Ratoza was hired as Studio Producer, producing pregame, halftime and postgame coverage.
Greg Fonseca and Tom Haberstroth are quite the get.

20 turnovers by the Pels in the first half. They playing so slow on both ends that it’s looking like a walk through. Not even a scrimmage.

Yeah, looks good but the team chemistry and play making is kinda busted. Not surprised since the team is mostly new.

Emoni Bates had 12 points w/ 3-6 from three today in 12 minutes. Will need to watch back and see how much hero ball there was
Definitely liking this team much more than last years so far, Nurkic and Beal seem like upgrades on and off the court compared to CP3 and DA

hope those aren't just titles, but shaq is too savvy he won't come on board as just a name

His draft position was insane imo. He's clearly been a late first at worst based purely on the numbers, and the off the court stuff hasn't been too significant.
One pre-season loss against a contender and Portland fans already up in arms and frustrated.
Bros, this is what rebuilding looks like ya fucking dummies. Enjoy the young dudes development. Seems there's a not so small (maybe up to 50%) contingent that this team might be a play-in team or better. Young teams don't win -- especially when you're trying to give significant playing time to 19-20 year olds.

I stopped paying attention to other “fans” a few years back for the most part when they were trying to get Stotts fired for running ISO heavy spread PnR. In 2018-19.
I’m definitely a bit more positive about what the team’s record could be than you, but only if they start Brogdon and give Ant a serious shot at being a star player.
Scoot looks like a surprisingly complete player already though and could definitely use the reps. Needs a pull up 3 going both right and left off a screen, defense needs work. Already good at getting downhill though and has surprisingly good court vision. Seems to shoot spot up triples decently well too which is a bonus.

I've been wanting them to pick a path (they went with the one I didn't want but at least it's a path). Starting Brogdon to win five more games makes no sense. That's just trying to thread the needle again. Welcome to the process, let it be.

Either way I want them developing players this year. Deal is, Anfernee is 24 and it's high time to figure out if he's Herro/CJ or Dame tier and Scoot isn't enough of a shooter (yet) to give him the space to make a legit run at it. If the side effect is they win a few more games playing vets, worth the look in the long run.
I'm not going to be even remotely mad if they don't but heck, he's the last Stotts holdover and I figure more than earned a run with the keys.
