The Pels big-bigs depth is poor. It's Jonas and Cody Zeller. They have small ball bigs in Zion and Nance and hopeful about EJ Liddell, Trey Murphy, and Dyson Daniels as small bigs. I'm not thrilled with this. Although it's not like they had it good last season with Hernangomez and Hayes as their Jonas backups.

Yeah he's not traveling with them, the guy who runs the team is a family friend. We don't turn down free offers round here plus he'll get to play against kids that are much better than the ones he plays against in his middle school league. The team is one of the best in the state so just practicing against them will be big. He hasn't been doing much basketball since school started so we don't have to worry about burning out, he's doing flag football now and will run track in spring.

Thanks, he's blood so always got his best interest in mind. I never talk about making the NBA with him either, not a realistic goal to put pressure on him. His parents and I are aiming for a scholarship though, d1, d2, D-dont matter as long as he ends up with no debt 🤣

That was a big reason my mom pushed for me to switch to French horn from trumpet in middle school because it was easier to get a scholarship with it. She straight up told me in 8th grade that if I don’t get a scholarship, she can’t afford to send me to college. And this was BEFORE college costs blew up. Lol
