By Meier Go To PostOne of my favorite posters ever. I hope we can meet up next time I am in London, Nigel – would be a night to remember (or maybe unable to remember) I'm sure. Hopefully get over there again this year some time.. been too long.
Chelsea wanting £75m for Havertz is incredible. The idea that his value would have gone up after 3 seasons of being very underwhelming is hysterical. A nothing player who has had 1 big moment in his career and done mostly fuck all otherwise. He's a £40m player, tops, and only because of his age.
Hahaha for sure man, give me plenty of notice but I still frequent the city.
By Laboured Go To PostI'd be legitimately pissed if my club signed Havertz even for like £40m.Same, just don't see anything there worth paying for from his time at Chelsea.
It'll go through at £55m inc. add ons.
(And if it doesn't then Todd is dumber than I previously thought, which would be impressive).

Two more years of Pep it seems.
And Will boys splashing the cash on Barella?
Todd would be silly to accept anything short of £80M from Sir Jimbo/Sheikh Jassim.

truly
Inter are in huge trouble financially. Think they owe around €400m in debt.
That being said, if Barella is going for £50m every club with any hint of ambition should be going for him.
Erik for the love of God.

Think they owe around €400m in debt.City linked with Kovacic, Utd with Mount for £50m+, Arsenal with Rice for £100m, Liverpool with Kone or Thuram for £40m, Chelsea with Caicedo for 70 - you'd be better off with Barella in literally every case.

surely even Bayern, PSG, and Barca would be in. Are Newcastle just going to blow away the rest with their wage offer?
At least we aren't going to waste our time on an unobtainable player like we've done in the past. Better to focus on players we've actually a chance of signing.
By Willkiller Go To PostNice bit of business.
Excuse me
Has anyone signed da ting?
As for Kai, where would he fit in our system? I’ve never figured out what he’s suppose to be.
By domino Go To Post50m reported but how much under the tableNew Saudi shirt sponsorship for Inter innit.

I'm warming to a Marcus (Hitler) Thuram and Hojland combo. Would be a smart way to play the market given we'll have around £120m to spend this summer plus sales.

We've players in Henderson, Elanga and Maguire that teams are actually interested in. A well run club could get £60m for that trio.
Henderson and Maguire are both on stupid money relative to their position in the squad and ability. It's probably why we won't get as much as we'd like.
Looking like it's Mount and a striker for sure. Bug that'll probably set us back £90m-100m. Selling that trio could then get you an excellent goalkeeper.
the dutch v the croats, lads.
not necessarily a fan of this nations league ting, but the finals are fun. on paper at least.
the other semi is spain v italy.
the winners and losers play against each other on sunday.

Mike Keegan said today that if a buyer came in and wiped our debt, we'd only be able to spend about £50m more this window.

I probably trust them less than Edwards. Sounds like we've certainly spoken to Inter about it, but in no way are we "closing in" on him like that bald cunt reported.
Says he's off on holiday now so can't respond to any tweets about it, i wonder if he's actually going on holiday soon or merely just "closing in" on having one. Fucking gimp.

I’m #TeamDisso when it comes to Havertz. Good player in there. Not 24 yet. Played out of position. Would be getting rid of Sterling, Ziyech, Loftus, Hudson, Gallagher all before him.
edit fucking hell lukaku is still a chelsea player

For a guy who has been played all across the front line and behind the striker, I find the notion Havertz has been played out of position a puzzler. Do you mean he plays more inside forward than he's otherwise been deployed at Chelsea?

150m£ of upfront fees is very very good.

He’s not a lone striker is he
By n8 dogg Go To PostHe’s not a lone striker is he
Well no, evidently not, but that's far from the only position he's been tried at.
Seemed to me he often played RW / inside right for Leverkusen but I feel like he's had enough stints in that area for Chelsea to make a call.
at 24 vardy wasnt even playing pro football
i trust arteta can make havertz look like a competent footballer
