Be interested to know what "Way less than £60m" means though.

PSG really do have an incredible recruitment process.
Might genuinely have ended up with a better team had they just picked random names out of a hat.
By Laboured Go To Postitsgonnabegreat.gifThe glazers, the best thing to ever happen to our rivals.
By barber Go To PostCurious why Brighton are giving Liverpool a discount 🤔He signed a new contract pre-WC presumably with a release clause, otherwise he'd have been out of contract this summer.
By Laboured Go To PostMight genuinely have ended up with a better team had they just picked random names out of a hat.I just don't understand how they have an infinite amount of money and this is the team they currently have
Nothing dangerous off the bench. Out of the 15 defenders and midfielders, there's only about 3 that are actually good imo(mendes, hakimi, verratti).
Maybe I'm overreacting or being harsh, since they have made a CL final recently, so who knows. But what is asensio ever going to bring to improve them for next season.
By Laboured Go To Postitsgonnabegreat.gifIf I didn’t know how much money I had to spend, and desperately needed a striker and a GK, I wouldn’t be going for Mount right now
United have almost unlimited funds
all these we dont know how much we can spend bullshit doesnt fool me
they want a #discount the cunts

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat's even the point to Chelsea at that price? That must only be a tiny accounting profit

Felt obvious to me for a long time he's going to go to Saudi. Barca will just be able to say "we tried", even if that will be left very much up for debate.

By Xpike Go To Postthey need to sell players or they'll get a banThey need to sell players for profit - accounting profit - or they'll get a ban. Havertz was signed for ~80m 3 seasons ago, so they'll only have amortized 48m of that cost. A sale for 55m only gives them around 25m profit on their accounts.
Havertz hasn't been a massive success but it still seems like a very short sighted move given he was one of the only players who was half decent for them this season
Also read that Chelsea need to make these sales by 30 June if they want to alleviate their FFP position but idk how accurate that is.

By Xpike Go To Postat the same time no one is going to offer more than that for Havertz, they have a sure sale so why screw it up when you're already desperateChelsea have around 38 first team players. Even discounting the ones they'll have to give away like Bakayoko and Baba Rahman, there are still a number of players they can sell, even if they have to take less than half of what they would like. They could sell Broja for 5, Hudson Odoi and Gallagher for 10 each and get the same money for FFP purposes, and I'd argue that would be a better move
Never heard of Virat Kohli before but he was at the FA Cup game as a guest of City/Puma. Cricketer with 251 million followers on IG. Someone named Anushka Sharma was there too (not sure if they're together). She has 64m followers. Always interesting to find out about these wildly famous people you've never heard of.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostGreat price if accurate. Should be an excellent addition either way.
Havertz has been a pretty nothing player in the grand scheme of things for Chelsea but obviously their fans will always have a special place in their hearts for him due to the CL winner. For a guy to play striker so often and score so little takes a lot of work. I guess he could potentially get back to his Leverkusen scoring at Madrid if they make him the direct replacement for Benzema.

The Ashes starts next Friday. Time to learn cricket.

Feel sorry for the spurs lads, it will take a miracle for the team to finish top four in the next decade.
