Proud of the lads.
Neither team really gave it their all.
Preventing city treble will start to feel like a yearly occurrence.

City’s dominance is the beginning of the end of the PL, I think. Big clubs will push for the Super League again and no one will be fucked to see them go this time.

only reason I can stand that fucking haircut tbh
Hopefully he remains fearless as he develops.

People have been predicting the pl bubble to burst for years now... It continues to grow.

Because there’s been a level of competitiveness regardless of City being rich. Teams were close to United even when we were winning two or three times in a row. The 99 season was fraught with tension and danger, games like the FA Cup Semi or the entire CL run save Brondby.
Without there being actual challenges to City, it just becomes another Bundesliga. PL gotta hope Newcastle step up lol.
20/21 was the only season City didn’t really have a challenge for it out of the last 5. Bit silly really considering Chelsea, Man U and maybe even us could now be at the top table in a big way.
City’s dominance goes with Pep. And who the duck even knows what happens with City once we get a resolution to the charges.

DDG is a liability if you want to aim for the title. I think the club are looking to re-new him on lower wages and the rumour is for him to be 2nd GK to a new No.1 - whoever that may be.
City will continue to dominate until Pep leaves. If this was any other manager in the world I doubt their dominance would be as close to what it is now. You have the best manager over the last 15 years backed by the biggest budget in the world, who can chop and change with no issues. Anyone that's beating this team to a title is overachieving. Hope Inter can do them in a one off game but I don't see it. Enjoy the treble*
ETH has had a successful 1st season and it hasn't been a bore to watch. Now we need to kick on. Its a shame this clubs sale hasn't been sorted yet as its most likely going to hinder any transfer business we could potentially do. Hopefully there is the backing there to replace players no longer needed (Maguire, Martial, De Gea, McFred etc) but I doubt he'll get everything he wants.

By n8 dogg Go To Post@dan @meierPretty sure. Unlucky for Ake but hard to take off Akanji at the moment.
Same team next week except Ederson?
Have to get rid of De Gea. Can't just punt it long any time we're under pressure. Don't get the ball back for minutes on end against good teams if you do that.
Chance creation and goals will come with the extra possession we'd gain from having someone competent in net.

Evra watching Estrela da Amadora. He announced yesterday that he is one of the investors that bought 90% of Estrela.
Estrela da Amadora are currently playing the playoff for a spot in the Primeira Liga against Marítimo and they lead 1-0 at halftime.
Estrela da Amadora was last on the Primeira Liga in 08/09 where they finished in 11th but were relegated to the third division due to severe financial problems.
Next season the squad was basically just youth players and loaned players but the financial problems continued and in 2011 the club was extinct.
Clube Desportivo Estrela was formed in it's places but only had youth squads until 17/18 where they started in the 8th tier of Portuguese football.
In July 2020 they merged with Club Sintra Football to become Club Football Estrela da Amadora and compete in the Portuguese 3rd division.
Less than 3 years later, they are just 135 minutes away from a return to the top tier of Portuguese football and with new investors backing them up.

This, ppl said EXACTLY the same thing when Roman came in or Utd would bully smaller clubs into selling them their best players. Just git gud man. Think we'd have to see another decade of city dominance for it to really have an effect on the growth of epl and I doubt that happens as the epl is just too cyclical, another tycoon, state or whatever buying clubs.
