been saying, we didnt lose the title on losing to city, we did it by not putting relegation candidates to the sword
I'm not too fussed about our bottle
I am wondering and preocupated about WHEN will we have the same opportunity in the future
Deep inside I feel this season was a freak
I hope I'm wrong

Next season you'll also have Liverpool getting 85+ points again.
Newcastle even stronger.
Man United will probably have a new manager bounce at some point too.
Very tough for the Arsenal.
Arsenal have a lot of really good young players who they'll continue to build around. Whatever happens over the next month, they will be right there in the fight for some years to come.
By Punished Go To PostNext season you'll also have Liverpool getting 85+ points again.Arsenal will have a young squad that has more experience and new reinforcements. Doubt we’ll drop out of the top 4. Arteta will continue to improve and the Kronkes are now fully supporting the club. I’m optimistic.

Still think Man Citeh will win it.
We are in an FM save.

The Good: Meier
The Bad: Dan
The Ugly: Kermit

By inky Go To PostNew manager bounce… Klopp is the one with one foot out the door m9s.Gonna take the Bayern job innit.
Time to accept reality.
By Punished Go To PostNext season you'll also have Liverpool getting 85+ points again.at the same time that'll mean other teams will actually be strong enough to give City a challenge instead of them steamrolling almost every opponent

tbf a lot of the top half teams have taken points off of City this season. Us, Spurs, Brentford and Man Utd beat them, Newcastle and Villa got draws.
it is, but we're also going to be stronger next season, most of our players haven't hit their peak ages
Arsenal have had a blessed season in terms of injuries, a reversion to the mean there would probably be the biggest drag on their next season performance
By Esch Go To PostNot afraid of the competition. If there's more dawgs in the room they will bite at each other too 😌And then there's lolspurs
Would have been different if the queen didnt die. We would have played them while they were out of form and we were steam rolling.
By inky Go To Postone of the reasons Arsenal were top for so longBetter to be on top for some time than to never have been top at all.
it's definitely a bit of a bottle

By Xpike Go To Postits city's year for sureFinally solidifying the death of football. Good riddance tbh.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostLiverpool talking with Sporting about Ugarte. No talk needed, release clause or fuck off.Is he any good 👀
So Glazers now saying they want £7bn (but know they won't get that), Qatar are saying they'll come in at around £5bn (but I'm guessing they're briefing that to throw off Ratcliffe). The shenanigans will be going right up to the 10pm deadline.
By Batong Go To PostIs he any good 👀
He is great.
The likes of Ugarte and Gravenberch are much better uses of Liverpool's money than splurging on Bellingham, frustatingly.

By inky Go To Postthere's only one winner m9Point being as a fan, I still greatly enjoyed the season. Honestly more disappointed that we didn’t go further into Europa. It was always City’s title to lose.
By Punished Go To PostNext season you'll also have Liverpool getting 85+ points again.I'm not downplaying that it'll be tough but people said exactly the same thing last year when we finished 5th and thought we'd blown our only chance to get back into the CL.

my main worry is that we're going to follow in the trend of only signing big names like Caicedo and Rice when Brighton etc have shown good scouting will get you anywhere, and we got some players like Martinelli ourselves to prove it.
Rice is such a guaranteed success though. Would find it hard to imagine him joining any of the big teams and not hitting the ground running.

You need to avoid our mistake of trying to skip a step and just keep building like you have been. Really, the smart teams will just be making smart incremental improvements and - I really hate saying this - being ready to pounce into the lead the moment Pep leaves.
By Punished Go To PostRice probably the best pure DM in the league, maybe
I've rarely gone back and forth on a player as much as Rice. Some days I think his touch, composure and passing are not there for playing DM (especially single pivot). Other days he looks like he's improved a lot in those departments.
