By Fergie Go To PostCity gonna win all their remaining games
vs
I hope that, if they really do it, they win the league by over 4 points, it would hurt less
Those last 2 draws were just proper Banter FC kind of performances
By Laboured Go To PostIt's a fair point, however City might have infinite money but their net transfer spend in that period is 6th highest in the league. Looks even better over just the last 5 seasons where it's 10th. When City spend, they spend well.
Jesus you can see why City let him go, if he just shoots instead of looking for a dive at the end we probably win the match
Zinny horrible and loses his marker for the 3rd
Partey hope these are the last 6 matches of him in an Arsenal shirt, aside from his idiotic stunt at the end, his tricks ended up giving West Ham the pen last match and the corner that leads to Sotoms 3rd
Ramsdale absolutely abysmal and essentially conditioned the entire match
White a non entity, if he's going to be our RB for this project he needs to do more in attack aside from overlaps
And Holding...he doesn't do anything wrong but our entire system changes to protect him, he doesn't win duels, doesn't pass to the front, he's nothing that Saliba is and we look worse with him in the pitch
Fabio Vieria was a waste of space, how does Trossard not start if the guy benching him gets outmuscled and outsmarted at every turn

Mad how Arsenal have dropped SIX points and it's still in their hands. What a choke this is going to be/is. An all timer.
I'm very glad City can just pulverize us next week, can't deal with any more "it's all in their hands" shit when it's obvious we have well and truly bottled it
By n8 dogg Go To PostMad City signed Phillips and sold LaviaIn retrospect, a really poor decision (and maybe flies in the face of me saying City usually spend well).. but if we hadn't sold Lavia, he wouldn't be playing this often realistically so for his sake it's a good thing we did. If he was on loan there, they might not have played him as much also. Either way, clear to see what we should do so I hope City just sell Phillips in the summer and bring Lavia back. Some talk his buy-back clause isn't in effect until 2024 though so I guess we'll see. Probably could get 30-35 for Phillips still so shouldn't take too much of a bath.
By Esch Go To PostI'm proud that it's our young hale end boys like Saka Martinelli Nketiah Nelson holding it down. Our vets like Jesus, Xhaka, Zinchenko, and that piece of shit rapist…. Ødegaard only turning it on at the end of the game is infuriating. I hate how he hides so much in these games. He has so much talent but his general play was fucking woeful today.Yeah there was no reason to wait until the 80th minute to turn it on.
By Fergie Go To Postthe youth were the only ones who showed up today, while you missed like 3 clear goals
By JesalR Go To PostFeels like a lot of anti rapist sentiment coinciding with bad formCan't speak for others but been saying he was shit / overrated all year. Costs us more points than people think with his weaknesses and then just never being fit.

Funny how that works.
By Laboured Go To PostHaha man the British commentators are so so boring and predictable
If man city win every game and win the league with 10 games left "that's just how good Manchester city are"
If man city lose to Southampton "that's just what the premier league is, any team can beat any team".
Either way they find something to praise about the league
By Laboured Go To Postmore silly stats aimed at pushing a narrative.
By JesalR Go To PostFeels like a lot of anti rapist sentiment coinciding with bad formWhat can I say, I have seen the light.
This is what I said in April about Jesus to Vini. Looks like he scored 4 goals in the previous 3 games so he was in good form coming in, so I'd have expected him to bury some of those chances today. He showed a general lack of consistency at City but he was always second choice so that can happen. I saw another post where I predicted he'd get 10+ goals in the league and 20 overall, but it looks like he hasn't scored in any of the cup games. I think if he hadn't been out injured for awhile he'd be around 15+ in the league by now.
Arsenal will probably want to sign another striker in the summer but I don't know where Jesus gets in the team if he isn't playing there so it's a little bit of a conundrum with respect to him.

He was scoring a lot of goals early in the season but he is such a confidence player.. I would say he could be a lead striker potentially as long as he got to continually play. I think he's been pretty effective as a winger so if he moves back to that position permanently for you, there's still a lot to be said about his ability there.
He has been very fringe for us lately and it shows. I think he'd be a good piece at least. I suspect he'll be pretty cheap (30-40m) so there will be money to go after another striker if that's the target.
By Laboured Go To Post
deducing City’s success to infinite money is like so 2017.
Need an actual striker backup that will score goals when we're looking dire, Nketiah is not it and Balogun probably isn't it either
By Willkiller Go To PostMad how Arsenal have dropped SIX points and it's still in their hands. What a choke this is going to be/is. An all timer.A young team that most people expected to finish fifth? Man what a CHOKE!
By Cleff Go To PostApparently the Corinthians manager admitted to raping a 13 year old in a recent interview?oh wow…
Of course that after buying a ton of expensive players for each position, evading financial fair with pure crime, and having the best coach money can buy, things sort of enter cruise control after a couple of years.
It’s like being ahead on a monopoly game after being able to play twice per turn and talking shit about having made good decisions now that you are back to playing once per turn.

Considering the backing, FFP dodges etc and coaching city are probably underperforming. Shoulda had a CL by now.
Anyways, didn't catch the first 10 mins, but it’s pretty obvious that teams are ready for Arsenal to go full on attack within the first portion of the game.
Ramsdale’s gotta start catching some flak.

Lmao xpike what. Partey has had a bad few games but legit one of the best DMs in the league this season

By Dr3upMushroom Go To PostRetirement F.C.It is such a retirement fc signing. There's nothing good that can come of it. Rather play Eric Garcia as striker.
Sunderland fans watching Partey take that shot, mad flashbacks to the single most Max Power moment in history
