I'm nearing the end and having an absolute blast. Only played through the original once an eternity ago, so this is basically like a new game to me.
The game being awesome on its own is obviously responsible for the majority of the fun I'm having, but I also feel like I've somehow unlocked gaming nirvana playing it at the highest settings @ 120fps in HDR on an OLED using a mouse. Everything is working together so, so well in this.

Just beat it on Hardcore, dont think I have it in me to go Pro.
Out of all the remakes I’d say it’s at 2nd or 3rd place behind Remake and RE2. I kind of miss the big cheesy set pieces of the og, I was bummed there was no giant Salazar.

Gonna start cooking, now that I have splits to run against and know an outdated route. I'll keep doing segmented, until I get a time I'm happy with, then the torture starts. Having to run this shit, without dieing (or saving), is gonna be hell.
