Even though they've only lost one single game, the Heat hasn't look threatening to me so far in these playoffs.
How the hell are the Nets ahead in this game?
The hgHeat are shooting 34% from the field and 6.3% from 3.
I am just tuning in now and we're not styling on bitcheshow might one style on himself?
What the fuck

nobody in their right mind would have taken the Knicks job over the Warriors

Amin Elhassan @AminESPNHow much the Knicks were going to give him again?
CASH OUT STEVIE!! RT @WojYahooNBA: Steve Kerr has agreed to a 5 year, approximately $25 million deal with Golden State, source tells Yahoo.
Makes me respect Kerr more.
Knicks are a dead-end job.
Does it?
The knicks job is a 5 year rebuild, coachign up young players and developing a core whilst learning from Phil.
The W's is walking into a play off team / contender and short term success.
The knicks one was probably the harder job. By a long way.
1. Fuck the Knicks. Both are probably true.
2. I don't think Kerr is going to be a good coach at all.
Dubs aren't challenging the Spurs, Thunder or Clippers regardless of who's coach.
Still love Kerr as a commentator though. Hopefully Webber will step in for him.
1. Fuck the Knicks. He would've been a good coach in NY with Phil backing him up on everything, giving him advice and the like. Now he's going to pull a sham on the Warriors, I still don't know why they didn't go after an experienced coach, they just went through this with Mark Jackson.
2. I don't think Kerr is going to be a good coach at all.
The Knicks and Kerr were apparently working out the contract details and Golden State has just swooped in at the last minute. The allure of staying on the west coast to remain closer to his family may have helped while the Warriors are also a better team on the court. On the flip side, the Knicks can't be excited about this with Kerr turning down Phil Jackson's offer. We'll pass along any info as it becomes available.
Unless Kerr is actually good he's in a position to lose his job in a season or two if they don't get past teh first round or miss the playoffs. New York would have given him a lot of time to develop cause of the low expectations.
Think Kerr messed up but LOL at the Knicks still not able to get easy pickings.

Healthy bogut see's GSW get past Clipps.... probably.
So they're challenging. They need a few tweaks to the roster, but the outline is there.
Seriously though, this is not a *fuck da Knicks* post.
But what realistic prospect do they provide of being competitive, even in the ass Leastern Conference, in the next few years?

I'd say the Knicks were the Notre Dame of the NBA but even Notre Dame has made it to a championship game in the past decade.
So basically Phil Jackson takes an immediate L by not even being able to bring Kerr into New York--his own boy, who he created unbelievable hype for simply because he wanted him.
and Kerr basically uses said hype to get his own dream gig
" I always wanted to experience free agency "

But a coach getting to learn from phill, whilst he's willing to teach? With an owner thats willing to spend. And Zero expectations?
Rare circumstances.

And Melo is dumb if he doesn't stay in the Leastern Conference and create the legacy that can only be attained by being a yearly victim to the cHeat.
None. But Dolan is insane--you have to consider that.

Woodson is actually a good coach, but nobody could have succeeded under his circumstances this season.
1. Fuck the Knicks.

I think everyone thought Jackson would be horrible. And he largely was yet they still won 50 games this year. If he's less paranoid about his assistants then he will be fine.
I still would have preferred a proven coach but I'm not entirely upset with this
1. Fuck the Knicks.at least we know that no matter how good he is as a coach it will never eclipse the quality and quantity of fellatio that he'll receive from his former broadcasting coworkers
2. I don't think Kerr is going to be a good coach at all.
Surprised the Warriors din't go after Pringles.
Pringles would have been a kind of weird, but interesting fit. The Warriors were elite defensively and mediocre offensively last year and that gap might increase as Green takes over most of the PF minutes from Lee. Not sure if Pringles could have kept the defense going while giving a jolt to the offense, or if he wouldn't fit the personnel.
I think the Lakers taint was too much for Lacob to take Pringles. Kerr is the hot name and a better PR move.

Knicks not having any expectations is a fallacy. They'll always have high expectations regardless of roster or whatever else. Look at the heat Woodson took this year despite half the team being injured or facing jail time for off the court shit.
Lacob doesn't really give a shit beyond making the playoffs and staying profitable. Jackson would have had the gig for years if he hadn't been intolerable to everybody but his players.
And if Melo goes to the bulls with a healthy Rose then they'll probably be the best team in the East next year if not the league.

I don't endorse flopping but if James is going to get that call Pierce needs to try and outflop him.
god
what goes through the mind of a ref that they'd call such a light touch foul against this apex predator LeBron
i just dont understand
