How come CP not just holding the ball after KD hit that three, wow this replay is fucking absurd.and he didn't foul immediately after
and he didn't kill Crawford for not running the clock
and he made another killer turnover in the final seconds
wtf brooks…was he actually asleep at the end?Well that explains why Perkins was out there in the final minutes. He forgot.
someone just asked about the plays from kd hitting his 3 and then russ taking a three afterwards. he responds with "i dont know what plays you're talking about"

How can OKC fans stand Scott Brooks?
either way you see it, the refs didn't do shit.Explain plsfoul

Glad we don't have any real clippers fans here. Couldn't take the crying about calls when a team shits the bed like that.of course you are happy since heat can have it easy lol.
Truth. I have to fight to call this one as it is. OKC is the one team I think the Heat could take in the finals. I think even the Blazers would walk all over us, and the Spurs and Clippers most certainly would. Everything in me wants to just let that shit go, but maaaaaan. That was bad.

Yea but they can't go back and review fouls. There were two options.
A) Give the ball to the Clippers and admit you fucked up on not calling the foul (honest mistake).
or
B) Give to the ball to OKC essentially saying you fucked up on the non foul call, and then fucked up again on a botch review.
I mean they could have made 0 mistakes (call the foul at first), make 1 mistake (miss the foul, gave the ball to the right team) or 2 mistakes (of course they pick this one).
P.S If they made the right call and say Jackson hits both FT. Clippers get the ball back with 16 seconds and chance to win or go to OT (taking the shot clock down). Instead Westbrook gets foul on a 3 and they end up winning.
That double mistake 100% changed the outcome of the game.
I rather lose than win like that, I think its fine they screwed up the review. maybe OKC should have advantage for that play afterall, giving super soft foul after that is the killer though. That shit that make this tasteless.

No to what Unknown is saying, I'd rather see the Clippers proceed so I can marvel at the fakery that would surround KD-Westbrook-Brooks. I was only saying I didn't want to see crying about fouls when the Clippers had the game and threw it away (or CP3 did, rather).
And shaking my head at your "heat can't beat anyone" run.
so tony brothers said replays were inconclusive, so they went with the call they made on the floorThat 3 point foul shit doe..

there sure is too much ref talk from a clippers team that did everything they could to give it away
doc at least acknowledged that but then why say you got robbed

haha CP3 pulling a Lin, what a dumb ass, missed the game but if someone comes running at you, hold the damn ball or pass it back to the person inbounding

Refs gonna job the Spurs in the WCF (them or Manu). Thunder then lose to the Heat in the finals. Writing is on the wall bro.
pls don't let indy fuckball go 7 games
pls
you should root for the Wiz to take the series
Now that Bosh is shooting threes the Pacers will get swept and its going to get ugly.
Sure the Wiz would lose but it'd be an up and down series.
yeah was wondering how cp3 just randomly lost the ball thereThey might have been distracted by the bear hug Blake was giving Thabo.
okcrefs etc

Or how often calls like that Reggie/CP3 contact aren't made on the very last play of the game.

so just how much was the out of bounds play call attributed to the rule if the player hits the hand of the ball carrier and it goes out of bounds, the ball carrier's team retains possession.
wonder what statement NBA makes/fines and their official ruling

just saw the final minutes of the clips game, couldn't watch live because my cable was out after a storm
clips completely deserved the L there, a ridiculous series of bad plays with chance after chance until the basketball gods finally said fuck it, take the L then if you want it so bad

that almost makes me wish westbrook choked just to see how they would spin that into the russ vs kd thing.

I don't know what to think about this.First, the music from Alan Parsns Project "Sirius" starts playing, leading into "Eye In The Sky". Then as the crescendo builds, at the 26 second mark the word
LEGIT
appears... then right before the next big riff at 31 seconds, another word appears right below it.
SHOOK
Hah, so turns out the refs actually made the right call? Stu Jackson cited the NBA Officiating Guidelines that states if a defender slaps the hand of a ball carrier, causing an out of bounds possession, despite carrier touching it last, team retains the ball.
Matt Barnes. Human excrement, everyone.

I thought it was pretty clear that Barnes hit jacksons wrist which called the ball to come loose. If Jackson never touches it again then by the rule it's off of Barnes.
That rule is actually meant for rebounds when someone slaps the ball away out of bounds. It should have been a foul so its not like it falls to a lesser rule to determine who it was out on. There is also no mention of what if there is a second hand that touches the ball after the first was hit.
It doesnt matter, Clippers choked and it was glorious.

if Reggie had clearly touched the ball again after it was dislodged via the foul then it would have been Clipper ball
I'm not seeing any footage that shows that that happened though.
Cliff Paul is disappointed.
