Does each team have its own stats crew, like Steve alluded to? I assumed it was a traveling group designated by the NBA. Each arena does have its own clock operators, though, and OKC's are notorious for pulling shit.
Friend Requests AcceptedDid ESPN really just use that headline?
Kevin Durant is playing like the MVP, but he's getting plenty of help as OKC looks to pull away.
LOL was Doc trying to send a message? It was 12 with like 2 minutes to go and you don't put in the starters??Seriously, I thought that game was much closer than the Clippers were treating it. 11 with two minutes ain't shit, and they could have legitimately cut it to 7 there with their bench in.
For a minute I though Chuck was imitating Durant before shooting a FT, then i heard the rest...
STILL on the SA women?
STILL on the SA women?
Kick out Shaq, add CWebb and GP and we are good to go.im gonna cry when chuck retires:(
Hopefully they bring in CWebb for his place.
CWebb rambles on too much.I think as a commentator, yeah, but as an analyst with other people around, I think he's pretty damn funny.
Where's Gary Payton analyzing at anyway? NBA TV? I can't remember if he was any good at actual analysis, but I loved him. I don't think it was just bias because I was a Sonics fan in my youth before the Grizz moved here.

NBA TV I think they got rid of him because he slipped some curse words out.
Shameful to call that an assist. He already had 2 more triple-doubles than anyone else in the playoffs (0).
Amazing assist to get Westbrook a triple double..Can I be a scorekeeper?
Ref is fighting internal forces on that non foul call. Even see it when he raises his hand and says nah
Disgusting game from Wall last night but part of that is from him being forced into an off ball and fascilitator role for most of these playoffs--it's killed his offensive flow. Beal dominating the ball is just something that shouldn't be a thing, at least until he improves his handle and slashing in the off-season.
Fantastic seeing Hibbert play well and it was awesome seeing JTIII there giving support to the alumni.
Still feeling good about the series considering we barely lost despite us playing like ass and Hibbert coming out of nowhere with the surprise bankai.

I don't know where else to post this but is it by design that we have a bunch of threads for smallish nba news? Cause I was caught off guard when I discovered more stuff beyond "view your posts" always felt it's easier if it is in one of two locations. But whatever works

We don't want some important news being lost in a giant thread. Right now it seems kind of silly since most topics are NBA related, but eventually that won't be the case.

OMFG.
I can't believe they got away with this on national television.

Beal dominating the ball is just something that shouldn't be a thing, at least until he improves his handle and slashing in the off-season.Beal being relegated as a mere spot up shooter does more harm than good. Shooting nothing but 3's and long 2's is not conducive to his development and long term success.

Larry Bird did this guy dirty, like his daughter.

Lol, we've literally given him the entire year to learn how to develop a dribble drive game and to create his own shot. There's a reason his PER was fucking atrocious on the season--I've never seen a player get the sort of leash he has this season in terms of relentlessly hammering at a weakness in his game during a live season.
Yall are tuning in now and saying he's this and that, and yea, he has a lot of upside, but this offense isn't made to be run through Beal in any fashion, and he's not ready to run it either--his dribble game still has a way to go. Next year he'll probably get there but not now. Wittman hasn't even installed a single package for Wall off the ball--we're talking one of the fastest guys in the league not getting ANY off ball screens to free him up for oops or anything. Dude has less than ten oops on the year, that's how bad Wittman has been in regards to x's and o's.
Walls been atrocious with the jumper and it's unacceptable, but if we don't allow him to run the offense aggressively then we're going to pay. There's a reason that Ariza had a terrible game last night, it's because Beal doesn't get him the looks Wall does. Beal running around Nene and Gortat off the ball for 20 of the 24 seconds until he gets the slightest window for a jumpshot looks good when it works but it lets a defense get set, gives little chance for offensive rebounds, and is a low percentage shot to boot.
So in short fuck yall we live and die with Wall running shit.

People been going in on Wall for this too. He's too dumb/bad to play off-ball and he's too dumb to run point. Beal fucking around in a half-court game is still better than Wall's fuckeryBeal being relegated as a mere spot up shooter does more harm than good. For some dumb reason I was watching "The Talk" at lunch. The first topic was about how Chuck should apologize to the women of San Antonio. 3 of the 5 actually said that it's no big deal with Sharon Osborne saying that it is just guys trying to one-up each other on the funny.
I was much more offended by Shaq and his "Beal Parmesan" and "Beal Cutlets". AWFUL!

Bad YNB and Wall on the same team and floor would be epic.
WTF?
Thomas Robinson found a rattlesnake in his locker!
RT @CHold: The rattlesnake was in Thomas Robinson's locker when the team arrived.
RT @CHold: Robinson sat in his locker, saw something curled up in the corner, did a double take, realized it was a rattler, jumped about 20 feet
That can't be real. What the shit.
