He won't play for United again. His contract will be paid up and he'll leave for nothing. Probably go abroad where the story has less heat.
By Laboured Go To PostSounds like Mbappe is out for both legs of the Bayern tie.PSG and injured key players during big games. Name a better duo.
By Pedja Go To PostWhat's his contract worth?
Reports were it was a 5 year contract worth £19.5m.
Greenwood situation is grim, most of all because he’ll be rich as fuck through it all. And the victim’s dad seems to be a scum bag blatantly trying to stay on his good side, probably put pressure on her to stay together with him.

£60m + Greenwood for Osimhen, Italians won't care about rape accusations
Any major club in the world will stay well clear. Doubt any Sponsors will want him anywhere near their brand.
By Daz Go To Postwhats your source on this? Her Dad put out a weird statement just after the initial video and arrest saying how in love they were and how he was a part of their family etc

Supposedly we're signing a ~£45m 3 year deal with the South Africa tourism board for our sleeve sponsorship. Pretty hefty jump from the <£30m we were getting from Cinch.
Looked up the other deals, and it seems to "Big 6" get more from their sleeve sponsors than any other prem team gets for their kit overall

By Willkiller Go To PostYou know, thinking about it. He probably will play for Man U again.
I mean, probably Ched Evans was the only one to have a reasonable imapct on his career, and he still went on to have a career after his appeal.
Football has always been very forgiving to people accused of rape, sexual assault etc. as long as they are not properly convicted.
there was that gk in Brazil that killed his gf fed the remains to his dogs and he still got a club after jail
United have continued to invite Ryan Giggs back to matches at Old Trafford despite his assault charges. Giggs has no affiliation with United any longer so it's a bit different I suppose. But I can see the club attempting to reintegrate Greenwood and test the waters PR wise.

I was kidding ofc. I really think he's done at the highest level, in this country at least. The audio evidence is just too much.
Would hope the climate has shifted enough since Evans that he won’t be coming back. Ched was shit and played for smaller clubs; nothing like playing for Manchester United to put you in the spotlight.
Shame, because he’s a stunning talent and would improve our forward options tenfold. Some things are just more important. Hope we’re rid of him asap.

Think the only thing stopping him returning is if the players and manager basically say they refuse to work with him, and then he really will have to be sold off pretty quick.
I suppose there could be discussions around mutual termination, but he's not obliged to agree to it.

Naturally, a lot of the discourse between fans online has centered around "but other players have gotten away with it!"

Fuck Greenwood
But it's true that when the audio came out, the victim's dad came out to run interference for the cunt instead of straight support of his daughter. The supposition was that some sort of negotiated money settlement could be in jeopardy if charges were brought against him.
If they are back together and working DV through therapy or whatever then what a fucking mess.
Still don't want that women beater and rapist in the team again.

Boilerplate announcement. Simply a wait and see what the eventual response is.

Apparently the Italian authorities are looking for further 20 points deduction for Juventus with regards to their financial irregularities.
Great video from our social media team.
There was a stupid thing in last nights game. There was a penalty on the last minute and the crowd was chanting for Ricardo Esgaio to take it, he has been terrible and there was a lot of pressure on him as Porro's current replacement so Sporting fans were giving him extra support to boost his confidence.
Esgaio asked the bench to take it, he was given the go ahead but Pedro Gonçalves didn't let him. The fans, in another example of how stupid they can be, started booing Gonçalves until the young kid Chermiti asked them to stop.
Awkward situation but the social media decided to have some fun with it to lighten the mood. Pedro Gonçalves goes to make a coffee, Esgaio asks if there's still coffee for him, Gonçalves says that there is only one capsule because Morita took two in a row, Marcus Edwards took another and Matheus Reis made a fucking great coffee (the goalscorers from yesterday).
So they play rock paper scissors for the coffee and Esgaio ends up taking it.
Pretty creative way to resolve this issue before the media starts saying there are issues on the locker room.
