Slow-mo VAR does make it look a million times worse. But stupid from Case, at least he'll be fresh for the final.

Just bought a ticket for The National in October. They are playing in Porto 3 days before my sister's wedding so I was already going to be there during that week.

Liverpool subreddit is unreadable. Teams can have bad seasons. For sure we’ve been awful, but the balance between reasonable criticism and abject negativity is way out of wack. Anyone who doesn’t either provide a novel perspective (notwithstanding whether it’s actually feasible) or just lays into the owners gets voted out of visibility.
The culture of “find someone to blame” is what I struggle with most. Years back every Liverpool fan seemed to be convinced that the source of all our problems was the goalkeeping coach. Yet here we are with the same coach years later and a goalkeeper that is one of the best in the world. Next they tried to blame Pep Ljinders, then Andreas Kornmeyer, the list goes on. Obviously the thing no one can shut up about now is that after this last summer, we’re way behind the other top 6 in terms of net spend. So it’s the owners’ fault now.
I’m much more interested in actual examination of what’s been going wrong.
This one speaks to my layman’s brain.

Re Liverpool.
People dismissed the klopp observation of his team’s 7 year burnouts cycle.
2 is a coincidence, 3 is a pattern.

Nathan Jones is really terrible at his job, eh?
His interviews are just car-crash material. Absolutely cannot cut it at this level.

Imagine buying 26 players at the start of the season and somehow making these individuals playing well together in a matter of weeks. That's a very unique skillset in the current managerial landscape. Reckon some top club could do with Steve Cooper at the helm. 🤔

Watched this yesterday and it summarized most of my thoughts as well. Klopp realized he has to do more with the ball definitely being one part of it, but theres more to it than that. The technical and tactical level of the league is rising and there are teams that can play out of presses now (e.g Brighton) enough to hurt the big sides. And highly physical athletic pressing sides playing one game a week that you gotta fight with. So on top of that paradigm shift you have a squad whose best players need replacing as well as an internal style shift. Only way Klopp survives this is through new ownership or by becoming a "Wenger", a figure who the club trusts with a rebuild based on prior success.
E: You can't count out the difference making of new ownership either.
