I guess he’s changing it up every week because he has no idea what his best team is, because there’s too many fucking players at that club.
There are 25 players who would fancy themselves to be first team options. It’s completely unsustainable.

If Chelsea don't ship the best part of 10 players this summer they're fucked no matter who the manager is.
Chelsea is far too dysfunctional to survive Potter's sacking.
The have an owner who's just an American Woodward - until the manager is given power to release or sell players, that atmo is going more toxic than Venus.

.... but then Boehly's stated business plan also involves a) getting top dollar for the players they sell and b) getting existing players to take lower basic wages with more incentives.
Let's see how that one goes for them.

This goal won the Puskas
I know it's amputees but did they have to put the lad with one arm in goal?

By Freewheelin Go To Postlol that is a really stupid formationYeah, Courtois at striker looks so weird.
Potter needs more time to work his magic, simple as that. Many people currently calling for his head will be ASHAMED when he wins the CL and PL with Chelsea in the future. Fortunately, Daddy Todd won't be swayed by the pressure from the fans and the medias, people who really have no clue how to run a successful soccer franchise. He's a man with a masterplan and he'll stick to it.

Brighton are still good without Potter
Chelsea are still shit, or even shitter, now with Potter
That is all that needs to be said imo.
Sack him, or suffer with him.

What a good two days for Sporting. Not only we had a easy win tonight, Porto lost yesterday at home with Gil Vicente 1-2, now Guimarães beat Braga 2-1.
We have shorten our difference to the 2nd and 3rd places, now we are 7 points behind Porto and 5 behind Braga.
Ibrahima Bamba from Guimarães is a player to watch for, 21 year old DM that was called by Mancini in May for a 53 men Italian training camp.
Guimarães rejected a 6M€ bid in January, he will surely go for at least 3 times that.

Only question that matters.
Can Chelsea find someone better right now?
If yes, get rid of him.
If no, stick with him.

In another proof of our league is shit, out of 18 teams, only the top 4 have a positive goal difference, two teams have a goal difference of 0.
By far the worst record of the top 7 European leagues.

They may as well give Potter the season at this point. They clearly don't have anyone lined up and are obviously not getting into CL.
Unless they fear a squad mutiny - but that's why you have half of them on 8 year sentences.

Owners created a problem Potter isn't capable of solving. He's a decent coach but I don't really like him or his football so I hope Chelsea keep him.
Potter is someone who would have been up for manager of the year had he remained at Brighton. If Chelsea fire him and don’t actually give him a full season with his bazillion new players it would be such a shame.
Potter should just do what Ten Hag did. Abandon some principles to get results, to build up the confidence of the players, and try to instill those principles in preseason. That he's not doing that, is Potter's own fault.
On the other hand, Klopp and Pep stuck to their principles, but you also saw it on the pitch regardless of bad results. I don't think Potter has shown his instructions to be taken in by the players either.
He's just doing terrible, no matter how you slice it.

The players are doing terrible too, since we're at it. For all the talk of a new Chelsea, this just feels like the usual Chelsea thing of the players deciding who they'll play for.

Not to mention the overall flaws in squad building besides that.
I wonder if Chelsea can even afford to sack Potter now. Their financial plan heavily relied on income from the CL to meet FFP and selling a bunch of players who are all in terrible form. They really wouldn't want to add another ~£25m to their costs this year

Morning, lads.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostPeople losing their minds over Potter not being sacked. He should probably be sacked tbh but I don't see the issue with them just writing the season off, giving him a full pre-season, and going again idk.For the first time in a long while, this summer will just be transfer Muppetry. Everyone from players to supporters & fans gets a rest from football. The best thing for Chelsea to start with will be a good clean out just as Horse says - starting with Auba.
