By Perfect Blue Go To PostArteta was never as bad as 2 wins out of 15 + all the money we’ve spent. I don’t buy that comparison. Potter is doing monumentally worse than anyone at a comparable club.Arteta would’ve won the league last year with that kind of money.
By Laboured Go To PostSeems like the second goal has belated been awarded to Rashford.Good, mad they took it off him in the first place.

Hitch can't even bring himself to be pro-Brit when it comes to United. A complete betrayal of his core values.

Small cup, but happy with the progress we've made.
Need a deeper squad to start so it doesn't become another false dawn.

It all sucks ATM. The players, the shape, the energy, the attacking, defending, morale etc.
By Hentai Samurai Go To PostIt was his 40th birthday yesterday. Instead of letting him blow the candles, the Portuguese FA allowed him to break someone's ankle.
wait how is this a yellow card lol
Shoulda gifted him a gun instead so this fucking terrorist can put a bullet in his own knee caps
Fucking cunt

Just had a call with my soon-to-be new boss before I start the new role.

By Dr3upMushroom Go To PostCongrats Daz.Thank you, where abouts are you?
I keep looking for another job but there’s nothing in the area.
By Daz Go To PostThank you, where abouts are you?USA! Central part of CA. Most well paying jobs are in the bay area but then you have to pay bay area living costs.
Seems like this was Bellerin's first goal in two years, the previous one was for Arsenal against Leeds.

I saw this youtube documentary on the bay area, even those in tech can barely afford to live there..
Kiwior looks really really good. Great pass selection, can carry and looks good on the ball. Not just a backup to Gabriel but a project player who will improve our basic ability building out of the back.

People losing their minds over Potter not being sacked. He should probably be sacked tbh but I don't see the issue with them just writing the season off, giving him a full pre-season, and going again idk.
I can 100% see the argument for Potter being sacked, but… you hire him, all his coaches, the apparatus he had at Brighton, you know he’s a training ground manager who needed time at his previous jobs to get them really firing, and in the middle of a WC season you buy fifty new players for him (not long after buying fifty new players for the previous manager) and you expect him to be doing that well?
He absolutely should be showing more than he is. Chelsea have enough pure quality in their side to be doing better. But every club above them in the league is more settled, hasn’t had the turnover, has had managers with more time.
I just don’t get why you hire Potter if you aren’t hiring him to be the Brighton Potter. This tweet earlier was like… the man in the position is exactly who you are describing lol.

He changes it up every week and it's not really providing any kind of success. The comparisons with Klopp, Arteta, Pep, who ever, at least those guys seemed to be building up to something during their struggles, of which Potter's is monumentally worse.

For the record I hope he stays and we give him fair bit of time next season too, but what do I know. As a Chelsea fan we haven't really seen a manager turn it around after a slump so it's a relatively unique position to be in. I hope he does it because he does seem like a genuine guy who isn't an asshole like all of our previous managers.
