By FortuneFaded Go To Postno real shock, as there isn't anyone in Jr categories right now with performances that would make Vowles think it is a sure enough upgrade for one season (24 market probably more options).
Race pace for rookie was OKisch, was surprised by his lack of qualie pace, as that was one of his better traits in his Jr career.
So same grid as last season, have not seen that one before. At least until Sergio is kicked out the RBR seat and Horner's long lost son DannyRic takes that one, with Liam then in that AT seat.

By MF Coom Go To PostDrugovich? Just get him. Yeah.Don't see Drugo as a big speed upgrade over Logan, maybe mentally bit stronger.
Next season they probably have more and better choices, so this is just an intermediate season for them. And bringing in another rookie for a year isn't really helpful. That is if Logan at least does the minimum of what can be expected from him.
That's a lot of 2024s
I really hope Bortoleto does well in F2, his timing could be great for 2025 if he impresses next season.
Drugovic won't make F1, his timing wasn't great.

3 rd year F2 winners hardly ever make it to F1 and if they do, do well in it.
Good driver, should find another series to excel, but understand F1 dream is still to strong.
Borteletto, Bearman VS Antonelli at Prema, O' Sullivan VS Martins at ART, fun F2 season but some will get their careers burned because of it

Get the feeling that non of those bottom two rows of drivers (and Perez) will be at their current team beyond next season
Ah just great, another race track replaced by a semi-streetcircuit like Miami with lots of slow 90 degree corners :woot:
Looking fairly likely to be still in Melbourne come Aus weekend. Tickets largely sold out but some hospitality options available… gonna need someone to talk me out of it
By JesalR Go To PostDo itAnd an early bet on a Max win to recover some of the cost.
Lewis still topping this list from a season in which only the top 8 got points and the winner only got 10 points is insane:

But
He had the best car that season
Yeah for me to that's mainly a "how good was my car list".
Lewis rookie season was really really good, not for points in fastest car but for how close he was to Fernando.
Only two you can compare are Max and Carlos as they were teammates that year.

Can somebody please think of the Drive to Survive directors
Always liked him, well before his DtS fame, old fashioned direct and managed to create an F1 team (with Gene's funding) on a shoestring budget. Last of the old school teams??
With Simone Resta (tech director) also leaving, wondering what Gene's plans are for the future. As I find it hard to see the current model work in modern competitive F1.

Wish I had Illustrator like the old days. I'd make something for Yuki in the span of five minutes and it will be infinitely better than that pos.
I wonder who was first with that logo Lewis has. The Castore logo looks like a more detailed version of that.
