Singing Max, think it is also song Jos played coming back from Karting races lol
GP: “max I’ll let you into a little secret…if my maths is right you have just overtaken Ascari that’s a record from 1952 mate terms of percentage wins in a season”
Max: “yeh…WE did that…we all did it”
Then they played Max the song and the sing a long

Standings
Sergio good weekend and should have a big enough buffer over Lewis, Las Vegas does not look like a merc track. And battle for p4 is hotting up. Vegas looks like a Ferrari track, AD more McLaren and does Fernando have some more magic for us.
Max officially won the WCC, no other team can catch him anymore

By recon_zero Go To Post4 C predicted for Vegas. Hope no one crashes after that big ass straightshould play a drinking game, were you take a shot every time someone says "graining"
Vegas baby, Ferrari special livery.
Moto(GP) weekend in Malaysia and yearly reminder how amazing that Sepang circuit is and what a shame it is we go to those silly streetcircuits instead of tracks like this :(
Not looking forward to getting up at 7am this sunday. But I am looking forward to Vegas. I can only hope it's going to be over the top and very American. If we go there might as well go all the way innit.
General Motors announced our full commitment to Formula 1 by registering Cadillac as a power unit manufacturer beginning in 2028–powering the Andretti Cadillac F1 entry.
Will be hard(er) for FOM and teams to be against Andretti entering the sport now.

Almost there lads the fore last GP of the year and this time we go to the entertainment capital of the world, R22 in Las Vegas
Typical street track, (long) straights and slow 90 degree corners. Because we race at night Vegas tine the ambient and track temp will be an added bonus for the teams. Bets guess, tires will grain (inner temp to cold, outer layer gets hot (sliding) and grains) might be fronts/rear no real clue yet.
So ignoring that,
Ferrari has been fastest over one lap on low downforce tracks, but lost it to Max in the race (tire deg) and expect similar here. Advantage for Ferrari almost all slow speed, no high speed (Ascari/Parabolica) were they lost time to RBR
McLaren: there on most tracks lately, but not sure about their low drag set-up/slow speed performance, so might be bit more tricky
Mercedes: bit to much drag, so fight with McLaren behind Fer/RBR in Q, race probably all about tires (graining or not)
Williams went well in Monza, only slow speed here no fast one, so if tires no prob go Alex
Aston ok last few races, but fear low drag set-up will no be as good as last race.
Surprise, Haas? They do go fast in straight-line and fire their tires up (to) quickly, advantage if cold and others struggle to generate heat, race :(
All sessions one day earlier, so starts Thursday, race on Saturday night local time.
No last year, so a few more pics ;)
Schedule: FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023
All one day earlier than normal!

Session red flagged and called off after only a few minutes. Sainz runs over a manhole cover and damages his car.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostSession red flagged and called off after only a few minutes. Sainz runs over a manhole cover and damages his car.Glad I did not stay up for that rofl
But nightmare start for the event, FP2 also delayed hopefully when it starts they can run a session without probs. Sainz and Ocon look done for today, to much damage
By recon_zero Go To PostWas there even a fp2?Yes, started well past 2 AM local time. Absolute disaster for FOM, because they had to send home all fans from the stands before session even started. They waited 6 hours in cold and I think due to road reopening for locals at 4AM, there was no time after session for them to go home.
FP2 data.
Ferrari 3x S one set medium
RBR/Merc 2x S and one medium
Gaps bigger due to different time set on track that got quicker and quicker, but
Single lap Ferrari fastest, behind them Merc/RBR/Fernando/Alex.
Long runs Max fastest despite being on old meds (Fer/Merc new meds), Charles pretty close and AT longrun pace looked best from the rest teams.
Looks a bit like Monza, so Ferrari pole but can they hold on to their tires, as graining (rear and front) seemed to be an issue today for all, just some more than others.

Incredibly beautiful.
Disgusting track. F1 chasing dumb dollars and not giving a fuck about driver safety.
FP3:
Red flag Albon in the wall 5 mins before end, lot of driver had to abort their qualie sims and did not set fast lap time. Charles was on his way to fastest lap (S1/2), so would still put Ferrari as favourite for pole, rest looks close and all about tire warm-up.

Lance Stroll has been given a 5 place grid penalty for overtaking under a yellow flag
Alex wall:
Ferrari, also Haas, no problem getting temp in tire... easy pole for them, shame for Carlos (10 p penalty)
Bye Sergio, bye Lewis, dropped 4 tenths on George S1, no temp or an error?
Only 2x Ferrari and Williams !!! in top 10
Charles pole, only question about size gap., unless rbr fires tires up quick enough (s1)

Forza Ferrari, shame for Carlos gets a penalty that was fault of track
RBR not fast enough on single lap
George almost pips Max, but starting on clean side might be OK.
Gasly, did not expect that
Williams mega q, 6 and 7, top Logan
Alonso error!? Was faster on 1st attempt on old set

Ocon passing Max just before lap starts and Max instantly pays it back, just great specially it meant Ocon out lol
