George good stint on the softs could have led to some fun with no SC. Think would have had a few cooked softs at the end

"Greatest Crowd" but they have to put noise suppressor when Max was talking 💀💀

Hungaroring is completely different to Silverstone so it will be interesting where McLaren is there.
By MF Coom Go To PostHungaroring is completely different to Silverstone so it will be interesting where McLaren is there.wonder if RBR finaly updates their car or say see you all next season
after all, Max is still leading the WCC
By MF Coom Go To PostLegreg needs to go to RBR prontobit of bad luck today, if you stop early and are managing your pace and a VSC in to SC happens.
Would love him at RBR but think Lando is more likely, but with McLaren stepping up....why would he.
Race Result:
standings: Max still leading both
Telegraaf, Nyck out DannyRic in, sources confirmed them.
Such a typical Helmut brainfart decision. Lets not give a rookie anytime and put mega pressure on him from start and when he starts to perform better (Siverstone faster in race) bit by bit, replace him with washed DannyRic. Would be amazing if Yuki has the upper hand on him as well.
And just read we have special Q tire rules again in Budapest (hard Q1, med Q2, soft q3). Imagine cooler temp light drizzle in Q1, think 6 in a row is on than.
Mean while in Silverstone lol

Now official.
Expect Danny in the redbull next year then. Ties severed with Checco.
Iwasa in AT next year?

No Markao.
DANNY RIC P2
By KP Go To PostNo Markao. He's gonna out qualify Sergio in Budapest, you heard it here first
DANNY RIC P2
like the rest of the grid ;)
But him stepping in one of the the slowest, if not slowest cars on the grid?? must be that they dangled a nice bone in front of him
Redbull are a disgrace
Give the guy at least a full season
Tsunoda was just as bad as Devries last season and look what he's doing now

Got a feeling it didn't help that Nyck is much older compared to regular rookies. I feel like they expected him to perform right out of the gate and at least beat Yuki. Whether that's a fair expectation, I don't know. F1 can be brutal sometimes.
Love to see Danny in a car again. But as mentioned above here, surely that's just to see where he's at compared to Yuki for the second RB seat next season.
@KP Would expect Lawson before Iwasa in the Alphatauri seat next year. Currently also doing rather well in Super Formula.

It is just dumb RBR PR fluff, no complex day to day correction algorithms were hurt in the process, they just need to sell the story/decision.
And the time was actually 7 tenths off, but that does not really matter either.
And almost forgot in the DannyRic is back stuff, Williams with a special Gulf livery for Singapore, Japan and Qatar Grands Prix. Classic one with a modern twist
Been at Goodwood today, got to see a lot of the cars, including the new Williams livery. I haven't been up close with an F1 car since the late naughts, really throws in to light how wide they are now.
Got to play with one of Valteri's wheels from his last season at Merc.
Will post some pictures in a bit

Just look at the size of that Ferrari, must look so small compared to last few generations of cars
And meanwhile in Rome Formula E, blind highspeed corners with many bumps in it (everyone is OK)

One thing from FoS that stood out for me was the Rolls Royce Spectre hauling ass in the rain. For something that weighs three tons that thing is planted. I'm so impressed.
Honorable mention is the Gordon Murray car. It has grown on me a lot.
I always love it when they bust out this Jaguar again at Goodwood.
Flying out to Budapest coming wednesday with the lads. Very excited to be attending again, it's been a while. Hopefully not a weekend full of rain. It always seems a 50/50 with Budapest.

Have fun in Budapest.
I'm going to start collecting scale models of these cars because having it in your Gran Turismo garage is not enough.
