Sainz is perfect for current Ferrari, will never be a champ, can do a decent job most of the times.
Leclerc is being let down by Ferrari big time. He should be moving on from those shithousers.

for the 1st time since '64 a Ferrari on pole for 24H Le Mans, shame they have the same tire eating problem as in F1 witch might cause problems for them vs Toyota in race trim. (double stints) #GoShanks
Love this livery almost as much as the Peugeot one, poster is just great

Saw there was some talk about Montreal being cancelled but everything is pointing to it going on like planned. Rain is coming the next few days and the fires seem contained at the moment.

Quebec, the province in which the Montreal race will be held next weekend, is the origin of much of the smoke.
F1 said it had been "assured the situation in Montreal is different to other parts of the country and US".
It added: "The risk remains low and the air quality is good in Montreal."
By Batong Go To PostLeBron in da houseI've been a fan of Le Mans all my life. I remember watching the GT40 winning it's first of four races as a child.
Field close enough that everyone can stay in leadlap, unless tech issues
Already seen more racing in the 1st hour than the last few editions, just great

If you put money on a Peugeot leading close to halftime, you would have been rich. shame about another SC and gaps gone again for them

Forza Ferrari, nr51 done it!
Good edition, shame about the long SCs, errors, (slowzone)crashes and tech issues, but for first time with new rules kind of expected. Bodes really well for the future of the main class on both sides of the pound, with more lining up to join.
Only bad feeling is the ACO and their late BoP chance and in the end picking the winner, cannot get french out of the French.

Actually that reminds me that I want to get the Pac Mac Arcade set that came out recently. Definitely heart that one too.
RaceWeek, back to F1 and R9-GP du Canda in Montreal
- Last 17/18 wins, so lets be bold and pick another RBR, Max win here and see if Sergio turns up this race weekend.
- This race it is Aston's time to bring the updates and if all works as expected I think Fernando might be looking at another podium
- Ferrari, this track should suit car better at least in Q, so can see a Charles bounce back, but running out of steam in R.
- Mercedes, slow corners and long straight so think they will struggle bit more, but Lewis does really like this track so think he will be close to podium as well
- Alpine, last year fast here, car looks better last few races so curious if they can be close top 3 other midfield teams
Rest, would say Williams better than last few races, top speed and believe some updates on Albon's car, surprise Q3 like Melbourne? Don't think there will be a lot of points on offer for the rest.
Unless weather hits the Sunday, right now looks more Fri/Sat chance of rain.
And have fun Disso!!! and pics or it did not happen ;)

Enjoy!!!!! I know you have been planning this for nearly a year.
Your first race?
Has always been one of my favourite races, but can’t watch the race live anymore because of the time difference.
Where can Leclerc even go? Merc are better now, but there's no seats there, and they're not close either. Though you at least feel like their management / pitwall are competent.

As long as Charles still has confidence Ferrari can change things around for 24/25 he will stay, the moment he looses that he will start looking around. Only options are RBR after 24 (Sergio has 23/24 contract no?),
Mercedes, depending on commitment Lewis and how George is developing. I don't know George his contract length, but if Charles is on market you want him signing a long term deal, but again after 24.
If Aston makes another step maybe, but Lance will stay and Fernando is also on 2 y deal? so again after 24
So can not see him leave Ferrari before end 24 and then you are also gambling on new '26 rules, so why not stay ;)
And sorry Disso, no more scenic route from ! to straight after t2, think they will have to turn and join back at T1?? sounds stupid to turn in to upcoming traffic, but that does happen at other tracks as well.
