Cheap, but than again all cars have lots of Carbon spots.
Car feels like a weird mix, compromise. Maybe rumours of Merc changing things late were true, but lets wait to see the car on track later today. But added pots to support floor and outwash feel bit out of place with crash structure wing. But most performance will come from floor anyway and we haven't seen one yet ;)

W14 on track, Siverstone, at least when it was running. Apparently PU issues cut short their filming day, need more reliable source than someone on twitter to confirm before taking it to seriously.

Drive to survive is out soon, right?
I really want to see the behind the scenes with Binotto and Legreg in Monaco. Maybe it's something, maybe it's nothing. I may just fast forward to it.

Logicall, if Lance still injured next week, he has some experience in the car.
And McLaren already in Bahrain, filming day.

F1TV annual discount. That said, can't seem to sign up as it keeps redirecting me to the UK store even with VPN on
Discovered one of my Korean subs has F1 but feel i will have to just pay for F1TV again. I don’t mind watching football or basketball in Korean, but F1 is too technical for me to work shit out. Martin Brundle is one of the best colour commentators in any sport.
Might just pay for the year sub now that I have done it for a year via VPN and never had any issues.

Rights over here are at ViaPlay, they got EPL as well so no brainer for me. Got F1TvPro as well (60€) as I nee live timing app anyway and its just few Euro's more a month.

First day and no idea about fuel loads and engine power used, but
- RBR looked stable, easy to drive in long-runs and lack of drop off in times as stint went on was lot better managed than others on that tire
- Ferrari, still bit of bouncing, like they had all last year and more twitchy at back. Heard from Isola that new Pirelli tires have moved the balance a bit more to the rear, so that might just need a night of data analysing and set-up tweaks, we will see tomorrow.
- Mercedes no issues with bouncing, were mostly on other tires doing their long-runs, or with more fuel (difference to big to not be). Would say solid start unlike last year and now trying to find performance in car
Not really looked at long run data midfield, but Alonso and Lando did a fast lap end of the day, roughly at similar time of day on track. Both teams had issues today, Drogovic at start and McLaren some brake part that needed attention and lost some time there. Rest not really paid attention to.
Come Saturday, last hour we might see some lower fuel runs, so until then it looks and feels quick only.

Day2:
Ferrari looked (set-up wise) a little better, but still with more rear tire heating/deg than RBR. Later the day and lower the ambient track temps a bit better, but still not on Max his level. Singe lap pace, we hopefully get better idea tomorrow, even with Checko in the car. RBR did have stuck in gear issue (oil leak?) mid afternoon and they lost some value time.
Mercedes still looks to lack a bit of downforce (maybe just lot more fuel), their problems controlling rear tire temp/deg might be a large part of it. Specially during day time, rear starts sliding a lot early on in a long stint. George had hydraulic issue and lost last two hours of running.
Aston looked again like best midfield car, how far of front hard to tell, maybe all laptimes later give an idea of their longer run pace and the amount of drop-off
McLaren looks ok, just seem to lack speed, Gasly (Alpine) long run similar time as Leclerc, 4 tenths off pace, with more deg at end stints.
Fastest laps from today, different tire compounds (Fer/RBR/Aston/Merc meds, others on softer compounds)
.

Preview of episode two is Christian Horner telling Toto in a group therapy session to change his fucking car.

Yeah, that's the stuff worth watching, not the fake on track action. will put it on the list and maybe I finish a whole season for once.
So far so good. Everything if less forced and maybe that's because the teams are used to Netflix hanging a mic over their heads by now. Christian Horner uses this to maximum effect lol
Episode two is focused on porpoising and Toto let it get to his head for a bit.

Reading on Reddit that Hitech are the favourites (to buy AT). They were bankrolled by Mazepin until the sanctions and now funded by mystery Middle East money.

Day3, slash whole testing, keeping in mind that Bahrain is rear limited track and most laps are done during extreme hot daytime (race weekend night). And that the cooler the track becomes, the closer the field gets together (over heating rear tire less of a problem).
RBR, looked good from the get go, fast and tire deg under control. You never know engine modes (even looked like they turned them down during fast laps, hope not) and fuel loads, but overall looked best balanced, every part of track.
Ferrari, during day time, struggling lot more with rear tires, the last part of sessions they looked better and got better during the week and not to far off RBR, 2nd best this week.
Mercedes, terrible during day time, specially with smaller rear wing. Today back to larger rear-wing and little better, just lacking bit to the Ferrari, but rear end was never the strong suite of the Merc, so W14 might be better on front limited tracks
Ason Martin made huge steps, close to the Merc or even as fast(er) and Fernando's race sim at the end of day3 was very, very impressive. Definitely team that improved most, hope close enough to front for Fernando to mix things up a little.
Alpine extremely hard to call, as they ran their car so much stiffer sprung than the rest and on this track (bumpier parts, S&F straight, fast corners end lap) that at times did not look comfortable
McLaren, entire team and Lando mood seams down, get the feeling on a track like this other midfield teams might have passed them. Hopefully for them a better front end, as this track did not suit them.
Sauber, like last year they look like one of the faster midfield cars on this type of track, another Q3 possible next week?
Haas/AT, both did not look as fast as last year during testing, long runs not as impressive but done earlier so maybe not as bad as it looks
Williams closer to the rest, might not always be out in Q1, so they made a step, not quite sure if big enough.

Red Bull need a solid number two driver like Barrichello was to Schumacher, Bottas to Hamilton. I don't think Norris is that.
There was interest for Lando from RBR, he choose build own team at McLaren. So don't think RBR needs or wants a "nr2" driver will be a problem. Think his contract is until 2025, so could trust Seidl and go to AUDI in 2026 if other options aren't there.

Really want Drugo in the car
Would be really good for him if the car is competitive and if he can debut with a point, maybe he can Devries himself into a spot next season
Brazil is thirsty for a driver
