By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostI don't usually get migraines but when I do they make me pay what I owe. Took the day off it was so bad, constant yawning yesterday, pressure at the back of my eyes and felt incredibly sleepy but couldn't go to sleep. I think I was dehydrated, usually drink about a gallon a day but the last 4-5 days I hadn't worked out much and that dropped down to like 3 cups. I demand sanctions against whoever created the software that allows for migraines.I've accepted that I'll either suffer caffeine addiction and occasional insomnia than ever suffer frequent migraines again
By DY_nasty Go To PostI've accepted that I'll either suffer caffeine addiction and occasional insomnia than ever suffer frequent migraines againI was sitting in a chair last night listening to podcasts with the lights off and my eyes closed. There's a kid at my nephews school whose parents are thinking of holding him back a year and transferring him to a prep school for sports. This is one of the top public schools in NYC and the country, I don't get it why transfer out. He's the same birth month as my nephew but is much smaller, slower and nowhere near athletic, yet his parents are about to be gung ho on sports. Why would you put pressure on a kid like that, you'll get noticed at the school he's at if he's good at sports.
must be one of those kids w/ his birthday really close to the grade cutoff. i remember reading some story (or maybe it was a podcast i listened to) that certain birth months have a statistically better shot of going D1/pro just due to physical maturation within your age cohort.
and if you're late in the calendar you may as well hold your kid back to give them that physical advantage since that's the primary separator in the middle school/early HS years once they start IDing potential and slotting you accordingly. it was more of a soccer/hockey focused thing but im sure it applies to all sports.
obv you can outdo all this if youre just good but why not give your kid every assist possible w/ the money at stake between NIL and pro deals
besides he can always reclass back to his natural year and graduate on time whether it works out or not
personally i hate the practice altogether though lol

Friend of mine got attacked last night when he was walking home by some Palestinians/moslims because he looked Jewish with his beanie.
Managed to run away from them but did get some cuts because they were throwing rocks.

Been sleeping with my Apple Watch these last couple of nights cuz my daughter keeps waking up throughout the night, so I was curious what my sleep chart would look like because I don’t even feel like I sleep anymore.
According to my watch I was in bed for 8.5 hours. I was only sleeping for 3.5 hours. I was in deep sleep for 7 minutes.
In conclusion, get a vasectomy

I always thought about getting one but then someone I know got one and he's been having the worst possible side effects.
His testis keeps producing sperm because it lost contact with the nerves that produce the sperm.
So it thinks, I need to make more and more which causes his balls to be enlarged and sore at times.
So, either he endures the pain, he can get an injection in his balls everything few months or they can remove it.

Goal is once I’ve managed my mental health issues I’m getting a vasectomy. Feel even more certain about never wanting a kid after discovering this shit is genetic.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostChrist. It's been to long for him, the issues started after 8-9 months and I think the cut off for a safe and achieveable reverse is 6 months.
Isn’t it reversible? @ Lupercal
The odds are 1/100 to have what he has, most of them lose those symptoms after a year or 2, so he'll have to wait.
You can also just remove the testis but that has a 1/3 chance of ending up worse so they don't want to do the operation unless necessary.
I think I would rather not have sex than let someone snip my dick tubes. Not that I need to as my wife is on the pill

He has a March birthday, he's a few days younger than my nephew but if you looked at them together you'd think they were 2 grades apart. His parents made the idiotic decision to put him on the 8th grade flag football team as a small 7th grader and were in the group chat complaining about how physical the last game was cause he got rocked on a play, like what did you expect? They have a 6th and 7th grade team for a reason. I just don't think it's smart for this kid in particular, like they're forcing it and he doesn't seem like a great athlete even at that age you can kind of tell, he also has a weird gait when he walks, like how do you not see it and correct it?
I saw his little brother at the last game and it's apparent to me the family really really cares about sports to some degree, the kid was wearing the all black mamba Lakers jersey and shorts. But, if you care why aren't your kids starting calisthenics and plyometrics? If you're gonna be that serious about sports your son by the age of 12 should be able to do 20+ real pushups, bodyweight squats etc. I get why people reclassify but in this instance it would be so stupid.

It may sound cliche but after kids, life changed for the better. My wife and I enjoy seeing them grow and hit milestones. Teaching my kid to ride a bike or swim was immensely rewarding.
Life is better in 30’s and 40’s due to financial gains and learning not to give a fuck, but if you’re not doing something rewarding (hobby, educational growth, kids, etc etc)
Shit is going to become pretty redundant

By Fenderputty Go To PostIt may sound cliche but after kids, life changed for the better.Really? I find this hard to believe.
My brother has three kids, 6, 4 & 1. The oldest was born just before I left for the US. Him and his family drove down and stayed for a few days and it was my first time meeting the other two. I hadn't been around kids in quite a few years. It was exhausting, and I wasn't even taking on any responsibilities. No way would I have ever wanted to have kids (not that it was even an option for me).
My nephews and niece mean the world to me, even though one is a miserable little teenage cunt at the moment. Going up to Norwich for the other one's tenth birthday at the end of the month, he hasn't lost his imagination or inquisitiveness yet so I can spend hours just chatting shit with him.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostReally? I find this hard to believe.
Why? It’s 100 accurate
By FortuneFaded Go To PostPresumably you were also happy before you had kids. You probably would have been happy regardless.
Not this happy, no.
Kids ain’t for everyone. But what else do I have in my 40’s to look forward to? Retirement? Senior citizen discounts? Lol I look forward to hearing about what they learned that day in school.
All I’m saying is find something rewarding. For me, kids were that thing
