By C4-621 Go To PostHere's a strange story for you guysPeople don’t realize not everything needs to be shared with photographic evidence
A coworker I barely even know (he asked me a few questions about poodles) sent me a no context picture of his newly adopted puppy lying on the ground with what appeared to be paint all over him
When I asked he replied with a crying emoji and told me that somebody ran him over and he's dead
????????
What the fuck. I don't care if it’s rude I blocked him.
I’d block them too
Saw a clinical psychologist today. She she thinks I have OCD and anxiety, with the former causing depression.
We also kind of realized that I have non-specific anxiety and dread about the future and my life because I’ve no real goals anymore since I finished school and got married and like… this is the rest of my life from now on. An inability to live in the present time without worrying about some random event in the future. This shit sucks.

Congratulations, you made it!
Making it: anxiety/10
On the real, that sucks though but also honestly it sounds rather a reasonable and honest explanation. What I mean by that is that all of the goals you put in front of yourself probably just suppressed these thoughts and once you got there it all came pouring out. It's probably all... very normal (minus the OCD).
But look, you took a step and got some answers, and now you can get to work.

You work from home right?
No way you are fit to be driving in the roads.
@Yurt, you did the tight thing. That is fucked up that someone feels the need to share a picture like that.
@Fortune, sorry for your loss.
@Perfect, glad you are getting treatment and hopefully can make progress now that you know what is wrong.
A Popeye's chicken opened up near me in London so I went for lunch.
The chicken burger was so dry it was like biting into ben shapiro's wife. And they call this spicy? Maybe that's why it was dry; adding mayo was already too much spice for them.
Bloody expensive as well. Not quite five guys but the priciest of all the recent american fast food imports. Is this another case of internet people biggin up mediocre fast food or is it actually supposed to be good?

Definitely a location issue. And I wouldn't go for the chicken burger personally but it shouldn't be that bad lol?
I think I have the opposite problem where I live for the present and absolutely dont give a fuck about the future or even tomorrow. Also bad there's no balance lol
Reckless Zabo waiting for games blows my mind my present self weeps for him

not like the american one is great or anything but it's easily better than this.

Careful, only Fender gets to do that.
On the way up to stat with my parents for a few days, with a trip to Alton Towers with my nephew's in the middle
My dad has shingles, and my mum has just phoned to say she might have covid 😑

By Pedja Go To PostGo to rubber dinghy rapids brotherI'm basically babysitting my nephew who's ten in a month but too short for the good rides, we both bloody love the rapids and the mine train tbf. He has a Ride Access Pass so for the rides he can go on we skip 90% of the queues. Would like to do one of the Halloween attractions but they cost almost as much as a park ticket. The tickets themselves are surprisingly cheapish when you get the two-day ones.
Might end up staying with my brother instead of my parents, I've somehow dodged COVID for almost four years and allow getting it now during my holiday.
She isn't, I'm just staying with them either side of going. Test came back negative anyway 😎
Now I just need to avoid her as much as possible

Went to a military airshow yesterday.
Fucking blew my mind.
The F22 is just insane. Seeing it go so slow at nearly 90 degrees pointed up was immense. Then just an incredible burst of speed to shoot right up.
F16 too was highly impressive.
Got to see the new Korean fighter the KF21. Meant to be 80% ability of the F22 at 60% the cost. Still in testing mode so couldn’t go all out but a remarkable plane.
Saw a B52 flyover and that thing is something else with all those engines.
But my highlight was seeing the U2 sply plane. What a site to behold. The only plane that armed guards haha.
I recommend to go to one if one is in your area.

F22 is crazy. No equal but still scheduled to be replaced in the 2030's.

Just came back from the psychologist. My formal diagnosis is severe OCD, severe GAD, and mild depression. She says the first two are causing the third one. Trifecta, lads

By Batong Go To Post🙏 have you tried some light meditation PB?Yes, and mindfulness activities. It’s helpful but without medication I’ve only gotten worse. Getting something prescribed on Thursday so I can go back to functioning normally.
Edit: @Yurt: meds
The meds can take a while to work. They may also make you feel worse so just keep an eye on that and let the doctors know.
By Batong Go To Post🙏 have you tried some light meditation PB?This guy 😭
Wish I could find it but there was a youtuber whose advice to get rid of anxiety is to just chug a bottle of beer. Just one, and down it in one and you're good.
By C4-621 Go To PostThis guy 😭
He'll be posting homeopathy links next.
Look, meds can obviously work to rebalance our brains/body but in our 21st century rushing into everything society I wanted to make sure he explored other options before to get some of those alpha and theta brain waves going. For Yurt it's lighting a joint, for Evilore it's dancing with etymotic earplugs in a club.
