Btw I've rescued a small puppy🥺
I'm pretty sure he's got like a few PTSDs already because lil guy looked abused. I didn't think I was ready for a dog and I dont like small poodles but dude broke my heart
He can sit 🥹 my heart is three sizes too big

I got mine a long-overdue grooming session on Friday. He is more active now and looks happier for it.

I get people who say they would die for their pets now. I promise your life will be better from now on
And then I'll be sad with you guys when he dies
He's going to die isn't he

Also, yeah, take care of under his eyes. If the marks/dirt have been there long enough, it is practically impossible to come out. I have a habit of wiping that area every day or a couple times a day so my little man of 15 years doesn't have any stains there.

Will do🫡

How do I get through to my Guyanese in-laws that eggs need to be refrigerated in America?
I’ve already told them, even made them watch YouTube videos explaining why.
I open the pantry and there’s a dozen eggs just sitting in there

By reilo Go To PostLegit never beard of that before lol damnEggs these days don't really have a high risk of salmonella. However if they have been refrigerated already you are going to want to continue to store them that way as they will sweat which promotes bacteria growth.

My mum has rescued a few puppies from Ireland. Gotta be careful when introducing them to new people, especially a large group, as they can easily get stressed out.
Good man Yurt.
By reilo Go To PostLegit never beard of that before lol damnMy wife said in Guyana they sell eggs like that. Looked it up and it’s common to just have them sold on shelves like a regular non-dairy or frozen item.
In America, since we have to do everything difference for no reason, they need to be refrigerated
Japan does both and nobody really cares. Japan also eats raw quite often
I will say Japanese shelf-life is shorter

Fucking hell.
My hometown in Turkey is the epicenter of the earthquake, a little town of 60K people, totalled. My uncle ran to my grandparents house around 4:30 AM to get them out, they live about 20 minutes away from eachother, everyone is terrified as you would expect, they're just in their cars now waiting out in some field, trying to keep warm. It's still rumbling apparently. We're all calling eachother to check-in on families, everyone knows everyone in this town with many family members allover the world.
Thank god they're OK. I really can't believe this is happening.

Awful to hear. Glad your family are ok.
Just read about it on the BBC. I hope the casualties are not too many.
Holy crap a 7.8?
I'm originally from Cali so I know about shakes but the biggest I was ever in was Loma as a tot. That's a crazy magnitude. Then the aftershocks won't be anything to sneer at either.
You said your peeps are okay but I hope it's not too devastating man <3

earthquakes are the worst. The nightmare are all the aftershocks that follow... shit will wear you to a nub!
Glad your fam is safe tho.

5.0 and lower, I'd sleep through it.
7.0 and greater, you make sure your family and neighbors are safe.

fuck man I just asked in the poli thread if your family was ok. Glad they got out.
thanks @all 🙏 my family got lucky, I'm wishing the others the same fate.
A second one just hit in the last 30 mins, a 7.6 that's now taking out any building left standing. What's really tragic is that the first one hit while everyone was asleep at 4:20 AM, so people didn't have time to get out of their homes, most are still under rubble.

Man, getting to Hawaii from England looks like a nightmare.
2 stops, 28+ hours. That's like three days each way wiped out by travel and jetlag presumably. Maybe I'll just go back to Maryland.
