Got a new big planter in the back, so doing a bunch big herbs like lemon grass and rosemary. Probably this fall and winter, I will fill it with broccoli.
Never tried shishito but I heard they produce a lot so I’m very excited to try this time.

Got dill and doing a cucumber again. Also tomatoes and of course some jalapeño and Serrano. The tomatillo we tried (didn’t do so well) apparently went to seed in a pot so I’m trying again lol. Zucchini too. Eggplant for my wife (not a fan)

Anyways, they have a huge farm and give us cucumbers every summer, so when I was also growing my got tired of eating cucumbers every day.

I got mint, basil, dill, and cilantro along with the rosemary and lemon grass.
Broccoli easy to grow but... birds love them leaves so you might need to net it up
At 6:45am this morning got an evacuation alarm on my phone and alarm announcement blaring from the local elementary school.
Apparently it was an error in relation to a North Korean satellite that they though was a missile heading for Seoul.
A lot of people rushed to shelters and took it very seriously before 20 minutes later it was announced as an error.
I just want back to bed. I thought if something was really going down then I would hear a lot of noise. I suspected it was most likely gonna be an error. No way the North has the balls to fire a missile towards Seoul.

Japan issued some evacuations this morning as well but claimed the ballistic fell harmlessly somewhere else🤷🏾♂️

One of the last tests of the Dutch NL-Alert systeem caused permanent hearing damage to some who were wearing earbuds or headphones. Volume was obscene. Scared the fuck out of me too. Another test is slated for next week. They've given a heads-up but as tests outnumber actual emergencies 50 to 1, nobody gives a fuck anyway.

4 hours once then 2.5 hours next each month month + 4 or 2 waste disposal bags (they charge me £40 a bag to take away grass). Seems pretty reasonable, my hedges are so round and the driveway is pretty big so appreciate them.
