Is there a way of making the hotbar in Pathfinder automatically grab a usable item after you've used one of them? It's kinda annoying that they don't stack, it's really annoying that even when you fill multiple slots on the hotbar they all disappear after using it once, even when you've already put them in the character inventory slots.
Got a couple of annoying UI bugs as well, one where it keeps pausing when I encounter a trap and then running headfirst at the trap the moment I unpause, another where it's lost the basic item detail window when looting, so I have to either just guess what I'm picking up, or display the full comparison screen one-by-one.

I think that's a belt thing not an item bar thing. And honestly you *don't* want to be burning through items like that tbh. The cost gets insane quick outside of healing potions - but even then you can toggle to use healing scrolls/potions until replenished. Anything a rest can't fix may as well be a reloaded save lol
There's definitely a setting to all stop when finding a trap. Didn't even ask if you were playing PC or console, but spacebar to select all the stop is typically what everyone uses to direct traffic immediately afterwards. I didn't even know you could continue straight through after the auto-pause.

I'm just burning all my buffs and cheap scrolls to try and kill this elemental since I assume there'll be a camp and a merchant when I leave the maze.
Hotbar issue seems to have fixed itself. Now to figure out how to get Camellia close enough to use the scrolls of light wounds without getting fucking rekt by attacks of opportunity

The elemental from the beginning? Not gonna lie you're probably level 1-3 at that point and unless you make damn near critical early game leveling choices (that don't necessarily always translate to mid or late game success either btw), then that fight will be a brick wall at worst or absolute rng at best even on easy and normal.
If you can handle the barbarians you're doing fine tbh. But pathfinder will straight up tell you no unless you come prepared when it comes to some encounters.

I liked it for what it was. Not offensively bad or especially good. I felt it did a god job of replicating the show and having flashy fights.

Chained Echoes might be the best old school JRPG outside of SMT relics. 30 hours in now and it's incredible.

Beat Arkham Origins. Story was mid. Open world sucked (worst 'evolution' of the Arkham games), but the boss fights were really fun. Shame that there was a ton of potential wasted so they could do the Jokah baby again

I don’t really follow games pre-release, only look into them once I’ve started playing them. Finding out there’s a revive mechanic and skill trees in a FromSoft game has blown my small mind.

I must've finished like 50% of the games on that Metacritic list Vapes posted. I thought 2022 was a solid year overall. Still half a dozen games I want to check out and I still have Cyberpunk to play.

IIRC you'll find 3 Prosthetic Tools over there. Flame Vent/Barrel (strong vs animals, ogres etc and a great way to interrupt an attack)
Axe (fucks up shields)
Mist Raven/dodge>counter (fucks up everything)
Some open up follow up combos or add elemental damage if you upgrade them with the Sculptor

More RPG mechanics at play in Sekiro, it’s less flashy and over the top. The core combat mechanics of deflect and counter everything feels very similar though.
