I can't remember the last time I was this hooked with a game (maybe TLOU 2?) but Alan Wake 2 is hitting all the right notes for me so far, what a confident and weird game lmao.
The narration could be on the nose for some, but it fits the tone and mood so well.

The narration certainly crosses the line for cringe more than a few times for me, and the puzzles are... terrible. might as well not be there at all, just a mild annoyance now.
