Kojima is one of the most brilliant game(play) designers in the history of gaming
But he's such a horrible fucking writer, every single one of his games would've been better with an editor or a competent writer
I'm glad they crushed his dream, gaming is better for it.

By Kibner Go To PostI've done this on my PS4. It works and works very well, but the wires suck. It's what ended up working but I had to connect and reconnect the splitter a few times to get it working. Annoying.

I feel like MGS1 was groundbreaking back then, the things you could do, the interactions and all the meta shenanigans, fun stuff that I never thought would be possible.
All his games play well (at their time at least)

By NiceGuy Go To PostI think MGS1-3 could only have been worse if they weren't so strangely writtenprobably true. I dunno, MGS 2 could've been better without the sentient hand and some other bullshit

MGS1 was definitely groundbreaking. It blew my mind as a kid. From the demo alone I knew I had to get it. I traded 6 games in for it at a local store.
He’s an inspired artist who inspires others but lives with the curse of wanting to be acknowledged by an industry that isn’t his. Hollywood worst of all.

i use the pulse for online gaming, so i’d only hook it up sp games.
crazy how he's probably one of the most renowned game developers in the world and yet he still treats games as if they are an inferior art form

They are different that’s all. It wasn’t that long ago that films were seen as an inferior art form too. Still are by many.
It’s telling that Kojima is more worried about Hollywood celebrity than the actual art of filmmaking, otherwise he would be making movies in Japan.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostBecause they are?The people aren’t ready to accept this truth.

NG II is less methodical and streamlined if you just wanna rip some ninjas apart so I can see why some people like it more, I love it, it does feel different.
Better weapons, varied locations, no backtracking or puzzles, basing the combat around ripping limbs...yeah good shit
@TP2
I'm not sure if the last few worlds will be harder but I'm 9 worlds in and so far its way easier than 1, pleasant even.

Movies are shit. How am I meant to get to know and care about a character in 90 minutes. TV shows are clear.
By HonestVapes Go To PostShe was in the wrong game.
This will definitely go well with no issues at all.
If you told me all the characters were written and voiced by AI in the Forza Horizon games, I wouldn’t doubt it for a second
If you told me all the characters were written and voiced by real people I wouldn’t believe you at all.
Halo thoughts after three weeks. I've actually gotten the weekly three straight weeks now. So I think I'm all the way back.
The new content that launched with this season is actually not good. The two new maps, Forbidden and Prism, don't really play well in any mode, and Forbidden is too large for arena, though this has been a 343 map design issue going back to their Reach maps. Extraction: nope. It was bad in H4 and it's still bad here.
And yet I don't think I can recommend this season enough because of the fundamental issues with the battle pass and the customization being fixed. The loops finally work and make sense; there's finally enough good content to make matchmaking fun and have some real variety to it. Really can't wait for all their H3 map remakes to go live next week even if Lockout sucks and people are crazy for liking it.

Forbidden is trash
I finished this seasons BP too, which is the first I’ve done since the game launched.
By Smokey Go To PostForbidden is trashOn Forbidden, there's too many opportunities for teams to lock down all the high ground, control the sniper spawn platform, and force lower level spawns and it all just snowballs. I don't know how they thought it was a good CTF map, either.

A real saving grace of this season in terms of maps is that Plaza (Solitude) is still great and Countdown (Dredge) plays surprisingly well in the Infinite sandbox.
Next week is going to bring Guardian, Construct, Lockout, etc., and I'm really interested to see how they play in this sandbox. I think Guardian should still be great.

The Invincible is out, reviews are mid-ish. Might still play at some distant point in time, when there's a drought and it's sub 10€.
Even the PS4 version of RDR2 still looks unbelievable, must be crazy on PC. Rockstar just leave everyone else in the dust when it comes to making open worlds that feel like they could be real places, every single hill, tree and crevice looks like it's been very deliberately placed. Bit disappointing that there still isn't a PS5 game that looks as good as it and TLoU2 imo, though I haven't played Demon's Souls.
