Each world introduces something new (half the fun is seeing what they come up with) and they dont repeat the same shtick twice, so dont expect to be solving the same type of puzzles ad nauseam. The puzzles are just the icing on the philosophical cake for me, the story is profound and fucking wonderful
1 is an absolute masterpiece although way smaller in scale and scope but I dunno, even the DLC is a must play imo (tackles a fun concept, a forum made and run by robots and its fucking hysterical, one of the regulars is 100% sy) but playing them first will just burn you out, its a bit challenging. Not sure what to recommend doing tbh
2 is bigger and more ambitious but is a continuation of what happened in 1. I typed all of this half asleep out of respect for Zabo. I mean you can still just play 2 ofc because in the end, it is about the puzzles.

With my PS plus running out and having no intention of renewing I decided to go play some of these games, starting with Callisto Protocol. People weren’t kidding, it looks very impressive. Looks better than Alan Wake 2.

Also the fact that they support audio via the controller via an input jack... the controller is bluetooth!! It's the same goddamn problem!
The half glossy half matte panels are a plus for me tbh. I’d say it’s it’s an overall improvement despite keeping a lot of the same design motifs of the original PS5.

Legit PITA to do voice chat audio in headphones. Luckily I had a lapel mic and a Y-audio splitter and somehow got it to work. Small voice feedback but it's quiet.
