Damn lol. Guess that massive patch that suped up console performance didn't do much on the other end
The animation skips randomly despite a perfect 60fps at times and makes it look jittery no matter what you do. Just a broken game.

@Wild Hearts
Nothing official yet but EA is cutting support soon. Well at least Capcom is announcing MH6 at TGS. Out by March most likely

Can't believe they even let this get public lol
Yeah, it’s literally cheaper for a lot of these people to take more time learning a new engine than it is to incur a lot of these sudden fees.
Which investment firm bought Unity to think this was a smart idea? Reeks of financial Wall Street stooge interference.

Epic watching Unity die and then planning on doing the same thing with Unreal in a few years but developers won't have an alternative to turn to.

I decided to play through the AC (Assassin's Creed) series for the first time. I'd played small parts of some but never a full play through. Just completed AC1 (dusted off the old PS3).
Pros:
- The graphics were better than I expected. The majority of the game being behind Altair looks good and the environments look fine. The faces were wonky and the developers knew that so they made a conscious choice to keep the camera far back
- I generally liked the world and it's a shame that there is seemingly little chance of returning to that area/time period (unless I'm mistaken and you do in future games) and adding modern improvements to the gameplay/design
- Good soundtrack
- The underlying premise is good and it's easy to see what they were trying to go for.
Cons
- For a game about climbing, the climbing never felt intuitive to me, and never once clicked. Uncharted released around the same time and had much better climbing.
- Combat was quite limited and again there are better examples from games released at the time, in particular Arkham Asylum
- Repetitive You had nine assassinations to complete and each one involved doing the same thing. Repeated side quests. Repeated voice lines and character models. Repeated assets and environments.
- Poor accessibility options. Game didn't even subtitles, which I would have liked because there was only background noise while characters are speaking
Overall, the game felt like it was small indie team pushing above their weight, reusing material to stretch the runtime. I would never think it was a big budget AAA game unless I knew about all the hype surrounding the game at the time.

Feel like Assassin's Creed's climbing is so non-linear that they've never quite nailed it. Never been a fan of the way they got around it by having the game do 99% of the work for you as you simply hold up on the analog stick, especially when it's janky and slower than I'd like as it was in Valhalla.
By Lego Go To PostOne of my few 100%.I noticed while playing that I didn’t get any trophy notifications, turns out that the original game doesn’t have any. Was released before trophies were established and none were ever patched in.
