And I mentioned Death Stranding's start up too. Even though you are legit in a walking simulator for several hours - there's ALWAYS some weird shit popping off to drive you back into the screen as the game builds momentum.

Last night I finally got to where things kind of opened up it but I got bugged out of the quest I was on but the quest to locate Moara was enough for me to question if I wanted to go continue.

The last 3 games I have played have all had terrible slow intros 1. Soul hackers 2 I dropped 2. Grandia which I pushed through for unknown reasons but it was a drag and now starfield. I don’t have the patience I used to I guess

I consume a lot of "slow" media but as you said it's gotta be engaging and provide a carrot to keep you in it.

It runs great. The problem is the tick system doesn't send all there yet, too many times have i been shot or shot someone who was well behind a wall by the time it happened.
That and then the bumping into each other bounces you around in a way that feels horrible. Also seems like run and gunning is way more accurate now, which should be toned down a lot.
But beta and all. I'm already having a ton of fun despite this

So I guess my choices resulted in me fighting Ayre which was basically a tanky cel 240. Played through chapter 1 of NG+ and played a different path on a mission. Pretty neat. Prolly gonna hit uo BG3 soon but I’ll be back lol

AC6 is my next game. Tried it briefly the other day, locked 120fps @ 4kappa, felt like it could be running at twice that. Very glad to hear John saying how well it plays with k&m, I thought that might be the case.
From gods, never had an issue worth mentioning with their PC ports, including Elden Ring, once you mod in unlocked framerate (and ultrawide).

Jedi Survivor is.....not polished. Game feels like it's held together with tape lol. So many visual glitches, it's crashed twice and I've had to reload my save like 3 times.

Takes me a long time to finish games these days but I finally finished FF16. Game was tight but it was very thin, in terms of progression and gameplay systems. I really had to push through it to finish it because it felt like it just dragged on for long stretches.

Please note that this patch is focused on balance adjustments that will allow players more build diversity in the early and mid-game when assembling their AC, as well as bug fixes.
