If you aren't playing a game you already bought before buying another, you never really wanted to play it. Backlogs smh, dumbest shit I ever heard
i never buy a game with the intent to finish them. if i get 2-3 hours out of them it has been worth it to me. sometimes i buy them knowing i won't like it because i'm curious. i know i won't like Starfield but i'll play it for an hour or two.
Sea of Stars seems gud from the demo, and I have no nostalgia at all for SNES era RPGs
Won't be getting it yet though with BG3 coming out on Sunday.

Was I taught incorrectly? Throughout high school and college, teachers/professors would dock points for using contractions. I was always told that it doesn't belong in proper writing. So, for Jason to be making such a big stink about this, how someone with such an uncompromising love for the English language keeps using them is confusing.

This game looks magical
Think for the rest of the year I’m good with Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty and Super Mario Wonder. The amount of games I gotta playing still that I already own is almost 30, ffs.
By reilo Go To PostFor me needs a comma after it..

I kinda agree with Sy honestly. Being chained to a backlog is stupid. Just play what you want to play, when you want to play it.
NG+ weapons are pure insanity😭
But also I'll buy whatever the fuck I want when I want

Doesn’t need it. It is better with it, but it’s not grammatically incorrect.

Yeah, it’s odd lol. You could argue the first is a proper comma splice, and all three would be better with semi-colons, but none are incorrect I would say.

What's really wild about this:
"Lastly, a note on Digital Foundry. You should expect to see relatively prompt coverage of the game by Rich and his team after a separate delivery of Starfield code was provided to them. However, this was provided alongside instruction to me by Bethesda that no other parts of Eurogamer were granted access. This was an unprecedented request, but one I ultimately felt compelled to honour to ensure the access granted to Digital Foundry was not subsequently impacted by any other mandate."

Starfield looks like it would be my jam so I would purchase regardless of score but this is still hilarious.
The only time I get burned it on review score hype. I’m betting it’s still better than tears tho

Wait, if each tile is procedurally generated. That means nothing is oriented next to anything else?
The whole planet just exists within that tile?
It's impressive tech (10 minute) is a good long while) but also kind of bummer of you want to explore.

Each planet gets like 5 landing zones you can set. Each landing zone procedurally generates and sets handcrafted POIs in them. Provided you don't delete and re-set a landing zone then all of the object permanence stuff will remain in those landing zones.
There's 1000 planets and you can set around 5 landing zones for each (not including the immutable ones for cities and settlements).

I'm still worried about the randomly generated stuff its rarely good but Vapes swears they know how to do it
It's fucking mental you can land right next to a massive city and it just....isn't there because of the tile system
By DY_nasty Go To PostDude really bitching about Oxford comma stuff lmaoHis original tweet made it sounds like awful grammar/misspellings, too. Not even the case, total twat complaint.
Maybe he does it for the monetized engagement

I don’t really get it. So you have to fast travel to it rather than walk into it? Is that basically the gist of it?
By n8 dogg Go To PostI don’t really get it. So you have to fast travel to it rather than walk into it? Is that basically the gist of it?Pretty much.
Because the zone you are in is procgen. It doesn't take into account proximity to anything else. Even if you are right next to a city. You won't see it.
