Just platinumed Final Fantasy XII. Been trying to do it for all the FFs. Got VII, VIII, XII & XV done now. IX & X might be unreachable with the skipping rope and dodging thunder bolt minigames.

Just do five at a time, press the pause button to collect yourself and stretch and mark down how many you have dodged, do another five. Repeat.
I never played a Pikmin but I'm eyeing Pikmin 4
Quick someone say something horrible about it

By FortuneFaded Go To PostAnd just do that 40 times in a row without messing up once or you have to start from the beginning.Yeah, that's why you take the breaks. Keeps your mentals sharp to lower the chances of mistakes. It's exponentially easier than trying to do it all in one go.

By Kibner Go To PostGau is a tragic character. his mother died during childbirth and his father went crazy and blamed him as demon child or whatever. the house that you first picked up Shadow in is his father's
It's a shame he doesn't get any development.
He's just so boring though. But also.. Damn powerful.
I gad heard about the opera part of the game before, but never actually looked it up. Sensational. Except i fucked a thing up and had to listen to all that again.
Finished with Dishonored. Ended up watching a stealth run playlist on YouTube and went ahead and got the platinum because you can basically beat the entire game in like 90 minutes. Made me feel plenty dumb with how I was going about some of the missions on my own.
By WoodenLung Go To PostHe's just so boring though. But also.. Damn powerful. So many great songs in that game. I can't stop humming it singing them the moment I hear something that reminds me of them.

Got really excited about bg3, then got dampened by people on resetera moaning about changes from the D&D 5e ruleset. I don't have any experience of D&D to compare it to, so I'd have never even noticed the changes π
Making shove a bonus action and apparently removing rest limits sounds a bit silly tbf if it ends up negating a load of the other mechanics.
Can't remember how spell limitation worked in the Original Sin games, did the decent ones basically use up so many action points that you couldn't really do anything else with your turn? From what I've heard spells are much more powerful in BG than they are in other CRPGs, so ideally that'd be balanced out with forcing the player to use them wisely.
Wonder how easily they'll be able to get balance patches out. Respeccing sounds like it's cheap and easy enough that players couldn't complain too much about being locked into builds that get nerfed.

Don't listen to resetera lol, balance seems fine from my playthroughs. They will never be able to make a 1:1 copy of 5e DnD because there's just so much gamebreaking stuff in there. The ones who are complaining probably haven't even played it yet.
Spells are strong but you can't keep spamming fireball throughout a fight.
Positioning and terraintype really matter. Original Sin also had those mechanics and BG3 just improves upon them.

I'm loving Viewfinder so far. It starts off as 'this would've been groundbreaking in a world where Portal never happened' and then it starts bending your mind and you're like 'woah'. The puzzles are great, too bad about the story part, which seems weak af.

By NiceGuy Go To PostI hate my own mind sometimesDon't worry about it. 5e doesn't have a good ruleset for combat, anyway, and there are plenty of cases where the rules are "I dunno, ask your GM".

If you wanted a good combat ruleset for DnD, it should have been based off the 4e rules. That's the best combat has been in DnD. Video game designers know how to make better combat systems, anyway.
When I'm actually excited for a game I'll block out internet dialogue on it completely π
