Been doing a quick CP2077 playthrough: male V, Nomad, full Body (shotguns, blunt melee), no Quickhacking INT babby mode, and crafting which is still a useless tree, but the amount of money you make is ridiculous. My Corpo V was struggling and I had to keep stopping every 10m to do random events for cash. Panam ending.
For as much as I love TW3, CP is so much more easily replayable. Could also be that the side-content is less interesting thus no fuss when you know what to skip. Also realized that I didn't see all the ending variations last time around. Game starts strong and ends strong too.
Ready for Idris. I'm gonna have to take a quick Starfield intermission for it.

A good Terminator 2 run in CP after the first playthrough is great fun.
I knew I leaned into INT hard the first time around, but dodging it completely significantly changed how the game unfolds. And by mid-game you're not even looking for cameras anymore - instead its hoping there's a turret lying around or exploding crates you can yeet ppl into.

Alan Wake is a solid game. The combat loop gets old real quick though.
But I like Remedy's approach to these sort of games.
Alan can only seem to run 10 feet before getting gassed. Awful cardio and stamina.

Does look really nice. Can't believe they're going to launch Mirage with CSGO assets though unless it's gonna be the first map pulled before the next Major map refresh.
By Laboured Go To PostKibner, they're saying ur new game is "general silliness". Pls respondI giggle every match I play, so, confirmed.
That review touches on the fact that the game is essentially a race is definitely on point. Well, until the handful of raids that are in place, in which you work together with the other team to beat the level.
There is also another game mode coming out next week that you have to beat the story to unlock. I currently have 2 dps and 1 tank suit at lvl 20 (you stop earning suit-specific rewards at that level) and am working on a support next, just to be sure I'm ready.
It's a stupid game, but fits my preferences extremely well. Competitive, big differences in skill levels (so far), fluid, dinos, mechs, quick to get feedback on progress during matches (multiple stages in each race), team coordination.
I'm looking forward to the content drop next week, because I would like to continue fighting the harder dinos all the time instead of being at the mercy of matchmaking. They also need a way to enable skipping the cutscenes during a handful of missions. Future patches need to introduce new maps, or new routes in existing maps, or new enemy configurations, etc. Something to make the game have more adaptation instead of memorization for clearing objectives fastest.

Watched a general description video for all the classes and subclasses in BG3

squad mates getting knocked out and drug into the phantom zone while I'm forced to watch from the APC 😭

For 10 minutes you're playing a stealth game and inching forward in damn near complete darkness while praying the guy you're trying to rescue isn't infested - then you're setting half the building on fire in a shootout while trying to decide if the play is to set up a turret or save the rookie getting hauled off into a vent.
I only wish it had an open playthrough or roguelike mode. After the first completion it'll never hit the same.
Anyone played Rain World? My YouTube recommendation are getting battered with videos about it. Looks kinda fun

you cant say that, in a post sound of freedom society, brother.
By Freewheelin Go To PostAnyone getting Viewfinder? Was really impressed by the demo, really cool concept.Looks interesting. It's what Portal 2 was supposed to be, I think. Valve were really excited about the gameplay possibilities at the time, but they decided it didn't make sense as a Portal sequel to change the main mechanic, but they were still hopeful if making a game of it, they were very secretive of how it worked, but they decided to finally talk about it and show prototypes a while back.
It was a similar mechanic with a magic camera that could alter objects, create and redraw things and spaces based on perspective. Neat stuff so I'm glad it's finally in a game.
😭 I'm just trying to take the initials back m9s. It's not fair that nonces get to keep them for themselves.
Kinda like when I shorten Arsenal's name to Arse (think of it as Ar-seh in Spanish, with no double meaning) even though I clearly understand it just means ass in English 😂

Looked up a beginner guide for Trouble Shooter: Abandoned Children (without spoiling myself) and my thoughts about what this game is were kinda off.
Tbf, I'm still in the beginning, so I don't know anything, but I should have been approaching this more like the Shadowrun games, when it comes to character management. The customization is unreal.
Now, I totally get why you can just adjust the difficulty mid campaign.

By HonestVapes Go To PostAnyone played Rain World? My YouTube recommendation are getting battered with videos about it. Looks kinda funI haven't , but I saw a YouTube video about it a few months ago as well. Seems like a hella impressive and hella ambitious game, with some pretty wild stuff going on under the hood (full, unique ecosystem being simulated and a pretty unique AI).
Unfortunately I decided at the time that it probably looks way more interesting to think about than actually play for me. It seems difficult and a bit hard to read. Definitely looked like a very unique thing, so I'd be curious to see opinions from folks here.
Anyone here played Ruined King? Looks decent from the thirty seconds I watched but wonder if the map system just obliterates all sense of exploration

Next sale, I’m gonna pick it up. I’m into games with weird systems so it seems my cup of tea. I’m surprised I didn’t hear it about it back in 2017 when it released though since I normally find out about weird new indie games as they pop up.
been listening to the Anarchy Reigns soundtrack while playing Exoprimal. Same kinda game where I'm like 'this is pretty cool but i'm totally gonna forget about it a year from now'

You can treat it like XCom to a point. But honestly these are all hero units so Fire Emblem with guns is more appropriate.
If any one of you tries to take Exoprimal away from Kibner I swear to god. He literally builds dino mechs on the side
Speaking offff mechsssss

Great theme, shit character. Probably the weakest in the entire cast but god does he get some cool moments and music.

You were fine. lol. I can see the Fire Emblem comparison. That's also the series that I have the least amount of experience in. lol
Enemies do insane amounts of damage, when allowed. Ngl, I should have been using a character with Lightning Reflexes, but Sion getting one shot, in Smoke, by Scott's overwatch has put the fear back in my heart.
