Maybe if I was one of those sickos who replay single player games it would make sense owning instead of renting it. By the time I get the itch to play Jedi Survivor again, which is never, they'll be bundling it for free with Jedi Orgazmator, the penultimate entry in the series.
Crazy how the first several side quests in FF16 are just menial fetch quest shit then in the end game it dumps 100 side quests that are all better than the Witcher 3.
The last 4 I've done have had multiple chapters, full budget mocapped cutscenes, a unique boss encounter and introduced two new additional reoccurring characters .
Every one of these last 4 sidequests could have(and should have) replaced the garbage ship building missions in the main quest.
One of those quests have one of the best moments in the entire game as well.
And every time I finish one, new quests become available.
Seems odd that they'd choose to backload so much quality content. Some could have been moved to the 1st half of the game(and the main quest) to give a better impression of the the optional content.

Those are two different trailers: one for the at-home covid convention a couple years ago and one that is for the upcoming convection this year. Yes, they have conventions for a game that hasn't seen release, yet.

It's still funny to me that the trailer is nearly identical to one from several years ago.
Not the cheapest they've been but might as well pick up the Souls games as it's the first time they've been on sale for a couple years.

Any sidequests you see that has a + symbol is one that adds something significant like a mount, increasing inventory size, consumable potency, rare weapon recipes etc

Looks like a completely different game. The genre switch to extraction shooter just sucked all the energy out of this. Looks like some slow loot scavenging bullshit

Local game shop got the Asian release of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games on Switch, went ahead and bought it and the new Kirby for my wife, after trading in a few old consoles.
