I don't hate them zabu m9. That's why I still want to play them, but like we can have something different "look how artsy, and heart-string pulling and meaningful I am". Planet of Lana does the same thing. It's almost scared of not hitting every one of those notes to the detriment of the experience. It almost feels too well tested.
I get it. It's sad that Lana's an orphan, I don't have to visit their parents grave and do a 30 second thoughtful sigh to get it, or have an endless playful call every 5 seconds to make you care. I will bet you knew Lana had a cutesy, animal companion like 5 minutes into the game before it even showed up. These games can do so much more.
Everyone wanting to recreate that Journey experience, when they could be recreating that Inside experience.

I'm being facetious, inky-kun. Completely agree with you. The cutesy companion side puzzler/platformer has been done to death. Sommerville is another disappointing one. Then again, not every indie can be What Remains Of Edith Finch, and there's so many to choose from that I mostly blame myself for not more actively seeking out different and interesting stuff.
Nintendo are wizards anyway. Proven time and time again that you can give them some potato hardware and they’ll still put out amazing looking games for it.

The Pro controller, though, is an insanely good piece of kit, IMO.
FF's side quests are genuinely stupid, almost to the point of parody, but they do work in fleshing out the world and characters I guess lol! Go kill works for me too

Game feels much, much better after turning the camera sensitivity to 3. Only one above the default of 2 but it's a huge difference. Hides the egregious motion blur a fair bit as well
