My main memory of Star Citizen will always be someone (probably Zabo) expecting me to be impressed by the animation of the knees moving when someone walks over a rock.

By Laboured Go To Post@dataJust finished the demo. I think its better than Shredder's Revenge. I was worried about it because the last showing made it look incredibly shallow ( even for a beat em up) but it turns out that was just journos being journos. I was smiling like an idiot the whole time. The soundtrack is incredible. It feels very different, klind of reminds me of The Simpsons Konami Game a lot but modernized. Grabbing/picking up is on a button rather than automatic like most fight em ups and it feels so good but the damage isnt as good so you almost use it as a tool to reposition enemies rather than big chunky damage. Everyone has air throws, everyone has a back attack, everyone has special attacks too which, instead of hp, uses a special bar. If you dont use the bar, you can fill it up and it gives you like a special mode where you do more damage
idk if you like beat em ups even if you dont know about toxic crusaders, I think you should play it
