Even the bonus mission (Eikonic Challenge) ends on a FIRE note, this is gonna be fucking incredible.

Never in doubt
I mean, that reads like a round-a-bout way of saying it's what you think it is. lol. I don't even get the "controversy. You can't even use hard lock-on 100% of the time in the souls games, because of the camera.
AC having two different kinds of lock-on modes has always kinda been a saying it without saying it kind of thing imo.
im more blown away by being able to fire all your weapons simultaneously than anything else tbh
and repair kits. wtf

i actually watched all of that lol. AC bad endings are underrated
never thought i'd see people get chased down by nineball again. but as always, it was quite enjoyable
it was also good to see someone straight up own that shitty controls were a part of the sauce for so long that it was just part of the gameplay.

By C4-621 Go To Post💋💋Thanks for telling me about the Eikonic Challenge, Yurt. Had no idea there was another part to the demo.
Dont worry Cleggy its DMC-esque so it probably wont be as punishing or demanding as other titles
Try the bonus level after the demo, that's not even 20% of how stylish it can look since he can't switch between titans yet.
I'm sorry guys im gonna call them titans.
The story is fucking insane
The combat is definitely better in this part. You've more specials and the chance to launch and juggle opponents. Although I'm awful at that part.
I'm surprised by the lack of any turning animation/speed in the AC6 footage compared to the previous games(that I've never played)
I asked developers to explain why PC ports in 2023 run like garbagehttps://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/asked-developers-pc-ports-run-garbage/
Marc Whitten, senior vice president and general manager of Unity Create, says that “the sheer diversity and variability of PC configurations that games will be played on … can definitely expose unexpected issues.” Whitten also points to “different operating systems and new driver updates, heat and latency, and user customization” as factors that can play into the problem.

Probably not going to buy EA PGA TOUR but a highlight is when you a particularly bad shot, there's a Spielberg dolly zoom of your player. Like you've just told photorealistic Dustin Johnson you put his little bags of flour in the bin.

4A could turn into insanity... but only if really dove into that aspect deliberately. even then, there were some ultralight builds that were faster than the cool kid shit.
as fast as most videos of 4A are, there's a level above that - and *that* was what made from go slow in 5
gotcha. the standard non-boosted 360 movement seemed like the biggest change to me from what I watched.
Anyways, 4 days to go

Star Citizen Has Now Cost More to Develop Than GTA V, Cyberpunk, and RDR Combined

I thought we already established that Star Citizen is just a scam and people are paying Chris Roberts’ retirement fund
Their last game the Messenger is apparently very good
The range lmao

By WoodenLung Go To PostI'm glad i never paid for it like, but i also still believe. We have to believe. For Zabo
By Rob Go To PostI thought we already established that Star Citizen is just a scam and people are paying Chris Roberts’ retirement fundIt might not be a scam, because there are attempts at a game being made, but Roberts and co. are definitely milking their whales for everything they got.
The biggest thing against it ever actually being released as promised is that all the actual talented developers left and the development team is now majorly staffed by fresh game programming school grads. The turnover is insane and Roberts and co. are fierce micromanagers so lots of work gets continually scrapped and thrown away.
This is without even getting into how a lot of what they want to do, network-wise, are physics and infrastructure problems wholly unrelated to actual code. They want to be able to track every bullet in a ship firefight to the precision that you could target people fighting in the belly of a giant ship and hit them from the outside with your shots. As well as each projectile being its own object and not just hitscan. While supporting over 1,000 players in an individual battle. With better-than-COD/CS/OW responsiveness for people on the inside of the ships having traditional FPS fights with each other.
No one has fat enough internet pipes to carry all that data. They need to make sacrifices in order to get something out, but the whole project's purpose from the start has been to sacrifice nothing to achieve Roberts' vision.

Starfield will fulfill the promise Star Citizen sold. To some extent.
Whatever happened to the Squadron 42 game? That still happening?

By s y Go To PostStarfield will fulfill the promise Star Citizen sold. To some extent. It was "almost ready" in 2016, but delayed to 2017. Then it was delayed again and I'm pretty sure the last update to its status was in 2018 when it was being reworked to include some of SC's online new features (physics and such engine overhauls).
Whatever happened to the Squadron 42 game? That still happening?
When covid happened they immediately jumped on the "our game has been affected too" wagon, so they told people to expect even more delays, but I don't think SQ42 has been mentioned, teased or updated anymore.
tl,dr: it's probably dead. Just adding ships and half-baked features to the live alpha version is what brings in the money. I'm sure SQ42 sales and pledges died half a decade ago.
