I would take a Clive if it meant turn based
But this new combat is big sleep. Hope it flops.
Refreshing to see the latest game that everyone hates is just a bad game, and not an okay but disappointing game as is usually the case.

I too rate forum user Bungie's opinions on any game highly.
They should just fold Factions into TLOU3 at this point.

Was disappointed that it was a fps + overwatch clone but I messed around in training mode and the suits were pretty unique. One of them can turned into a jet for like 5 seconds and elevate way above the map.
By Punished Go To PostYeah, kind of want to get it after seeing footage. Initially thought it looked very rough.
Looks pretty good I think. Post match character models look pretty bad but otherwise ok.

Condescending sympathetic tweets and excuses only, and anything that's left you can just blame on amorphous management and publishers.
By C4-621 Go To PostBrand new game from Naughty Dog sounds exciting to me, assuming its not a sequel. It is probably TLOU part 3 Abby’s quest
I really thought Gollum at worst would be a basic ass generic stealth game.
*Avoid patrols of orcs while trying to escape this tower
*Pull a lever here to make a path, douse a fire torch there to create some shadows
*Solve a puzzle or something. Gollum likes riddles, right?
I watched Jeff G play yesterday and it was fucking prison chores simulator. These people have made games before, I thought...

By C4-621 Go To PostI don't understand how they thought anyone could beat the AC4A final boss without going beyond the limits of that controller 😂
To this day, that's still the hardest finale I've ever played
This Alone in the Dark Prologue is like 5 minutes long
I liked the atmosphere tho. Played the shit out of the Dreamcast game so this looks alright.

Do kids still use the claw when playing fighting games on controller? I used to do that before i switched to stick.
By s y Go To PostWhy would they? There's no fighting game that requires gripping the controller like that.
I mean this. I remember pad pros using at Evo.
Finally got a match in for Gundam Evolution. Guessing it was mostly bots because I went on a 27 kill streak(pale rider), I know I'm a god gamer but still.
edit: apparently there are no bots im just that good

this is how i used to play tekken 3 and ttt.
Claw helps with Souls since you have complete control of the camera and your sprints/dodges
No need for any of that with PS5's Edge

By DiPro Go To PostI dunno what that’s called but it’s not claw grip. I used to play Tekken on the PS1 like that though.

Maybe they're both called claw grip
That's the one I was referring to
You control the right titty and the sprint/roll. It's a HUGE advantage. I didn't even know what it was or that I was doing it until my friend pointed it out lol
But like, not all the time, in a duel or a boss fight.
Once I get a feel for their swings and range its gg basically, I can maneuver in and around them.

By HonestVapes Go To PostThe vision of Kibner’s disappointment is all I see looking at those mouse gripsI'm getting sympathy pains every time I look at those images.
This is why pro gamers have to retire early. Not reaction times, but because their joints are too fucked up from insane grips and postures that they can no longer play without pain.
How on earth do y’all play games like that. Just get a stick

By domino Go To PostHow on earth do y’all play games like that. Just get a stickThe image in that grip is actually better for your hands than a traditional stick, tbh. Sticks themselves aren't very good, ergonomically speaking. You would want one that is super wide (or split!) and have the buttons tilted at an angle that is closer to leaving your hand in a hand-shake position.
i am watching it all
hope they get the rights back. the patches even been a clear indication of what terrible direction they want to take it in without the creators.
