By jjasper Go To Postwhat does that even mean.Could be wrong about Marathon, but generally speaking a PvPvE Extraction game is: enter/drop on open area either solo or squad -> loot environment/AI enemies/other players -> complete objectives to extract (defend position from AI or players while you make it out).
You keep loot for your next go around and if you die, you lose whatever's on you at the time. Every game has different nuances like maybe there's not AI enemies at all, other side objectives, etc. But it's unlikely there's a single player story component, at least in the traditional sense.

E: it's like a team-based anime brawler + third person shooter with map objectives
