Rift a part is lean and mean heh? Just met the real Kit and I’m digging it a lot actually. Nothing in this game is complex but it’s consistently fun, and the pacing is really on point here. The characters are well written, the plot moves along, the animation is wonderful, and the guns if nothing else they provide the fireworks. It’s all so polished.

What about the characters are well written? They are barely even characters. Ratchet/kit don't have any personality being being nice. Insomniac can't write characters for shit.
Rift Apart is fine, a proper 3/5 game. They will never reach the heights of A Crack in Time ever again, it feels like.

I adored it but I imagine it did not age well. Some genuinely spooky moments but laced with enough stupid shit to still be fun rather than a horror game.

ff16 framerate being locked to 30fps outside of combat, which is 60pfs, is certainly a choice. Hoping that's just a dumb menu setting for people who don't have proper eyes.
