By jjasper Go To PostAs long as there are different things to do and the poop seeds and shrines are in different locations it shouldnāt really be a huge deal. I am going to be 100% honest it has been long enough since I have played it that other than general directional stuff I wonāt remember anything about the map.Sm2 will not have the same map
I mean Spider-Man 2 will have the same map I assume and it shouldnāt be a big deal.
By Laboured Go To PostSpoilers or whatever but there is literally a whole new underground world as big as Hyrule as well as the sky islands.Skyrim did it from the start, then added another whole continent as DLC
Idk man, I feel like if it was doing Nu Graphixā¢ people would just treat it like the sequel it clearly is.
By inky Go To PostSkyrim did it from the start, then added another whole continent as DLC
Bethesda further proving theyāre ahead of their time
1.6 times larger apparently. Nintendo never intended for people to 100% the game. That's why they awarded players that did with a piece of shit...
By NiceGuy Go To PostDo you only get these beta rewards if you buy Diablo direct from the Blizzard store? It's tied to whatever battle. Net account you used to play the betas with.
By s y Go To Postdoes the previous beta save carry over? No.
edit:answer me first inky
Not any queue for D4 atm. Could just be less demand because it's the third one they've done, plus zeldo.
Trying Necro after only using Barb previously. Man this class just plays itself huh lol
Wish there was a way to control formation of your minions.

I haven't really kept up with D4, I enjoyed D3 and played it about as much as the average game but I played D2 habitually for years so I was a bit disappointed. D3 felt like an arcade game where none of the build decisions actually mattered. Is D4 more of the same?
Do either Broken Sword 5 or Dishonored 2 have a decent story?
Don't need Chaucer, just something that holds attention until the end.

Love Chaucer being held up as the height of storytelling. Hereās a story where someone farts in a blokeās face and a red hot poker gets shoved up his arse.
Nobody has ever actually read the Canterbury Tales innit
Apparently I've already played Broken Sword for 45 minutes, must have been shite.

Finished off Linkās Awakening. I really wish I didnāt overlook playing this when it came out on the Switch a few years ago. Great game. Fuck Turtle Rock though, only dungeon I lost patience with and consulted a guide to finish.
Egg on a mountain and the wind fish though, the devs were on that same dope as The Beatles in the 60ās.

This, the Water Temple in OoT, and the Stone Temple in Majoraās Mask are the holy trinity of Zelda dungeons IMO.

lmfao
Should I play another Zelda game before I go into TOTK? As it stands, I have only completed BOTW and now Linkās Awakening.

Beginning drags on a bit though..

My vote is still for A Link To The Past but nostalgia is powerful.

Majoras Mask if you want weirdness
Wind Waker for ocean vibes
Starfield is doing procedural generation?
Bethesda can't even get their main locations right this is going to be funny

Otherwise this gonna be a bit more complex than what No Man's Sky is doing I imagine lol
By JesalR Go To PostPlay TOTW vapes, jump on the ZeitgeistI made the mistake of mentioning that I was looking forward to it to my girlfriend weeks ago. She immediately offered to get it me for my birthday next month. I have no say in this now.
Otherwise Iād already be deep in the new zolda
Inconsiderate tbh
I dunno if I'd play a Zelda till then, you might burn yourself out. Quite a few of them aren't different enough
I still vote for either Wind Waker or MM. Not sure what Batong is doing, Skyward is like the worst choice before TOTK lol

By C4-621 Go To PostAh is it just for quests?I donāt know if Starfield will be just for quests. Skyrim and Fallout 4 had āradiantā quests which were just procedurally generated. Very simplistic implementations of procedural generation though.

I want to say they dabbled in procedural for the TES Arena and Daggerfall too. I havenāt played them, but Iām sure Iāve read that the game worlds were mostly generated due to the absurd size of the game worlds in those.
Oblivion used a super super loose definition of procedural generation for dungeon/oblivion gates. IIRC, there was a pool of 8 layouts or so for the oblivion gates. When you went into a non-scripted gate, you could any of those 8 potential layouts.
Anyway, if FROM can pull it off in Bloodborne with the Chalice Dungeons, anybody can.

Wanted to finish the only mainline Zelda I haven't played before any emulation niggles are sorted.
