Tbh, I don’t trust any current dev team to modernise MGS. I don’t think the spirit of the games can be translated into modern gameplay and story telling.
I’ll still play a remaster of one the games though, even if it’s a shitty remaster.

Pretty easy to translate the spirit of MGS games, y’all tripping acting like it’s some intangible stuff. The closer it sticks to MGS3 and MGS1 vibes the better anyway. Their influences are so transparent.

It’s not that I think Kojima’s a genius. I just don’t think a modern remake would be able to replicate the feel of the originals.
A Bluepoint style remake or a straight up HD remaster are the only options that’d work for me.
