I can't get over how bland the game enviroments are. So sterile and unexciting to look at. And then the gunplay looks bad and is bad per the stuff I've seen.

I tried Redfall last night. Streamed it, couldn’t be arsed wasting time downloading it. The brief hour I played didn’t seem that bad. Gunplay felt similar to Far Cry.

I played some more this morning. I’m surprised it’s getting so much hate because at worst it’s inoffensively average.
I've heard some pretty inoffensive things about Redfall from folks whose opinion I value as well, but this is nothing new, people love ganging up on disappointing (supposed) big titles and Microsoft is an easy target these days.

On another note, xCloud feels significantly more responsive than the last time I used it. I tried Redfall last night, then Deathloop at 60FPS, and a bit of Fortnite. Like I wouldn’t touch it for any PvP games but I could absolutely play single player games with the current amount of latency and not complain.

I’ve been trying it every few months but it’s still not there for me. Audio glitches or sudden lag, macroblocking, I just can’t do it.
